This is one of the very few holders that I feel confident that it will hold my large phone, the Samsung fold 3. These are very expensive phone and many holders either have a screw down hold method that I worry my screen will be damaged. This one holds at the top and bottom edges and nicely along the sides. Also has 1/4-20 thread so it can easily be mounted on variety of tripods and boom arms with ease. The construction of the unit seems to be of decent quality and not a cheap light weight as some rigging units are.

I was not expecting this to be go great for my tablet and needs but the other reviews were right. This fits perfectly in both directions. I'm not worried about my tablet slipping or falling, it holds tight and stays put. Although I don't use it outside of the house its light weight, and portable if need be. The material is as described and has a padding so it won't scratch the back of your tablet. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. Wish this was the first one that I went with.

The only part of this mount which is metal is the part where the tripod screws into. So don't turn too hard. The rest is made up of this cheap plastic material that reminds me of the stuff they make from recycled soda bottles. The padding is scratchy, hard, and doesn't yield to pressure, making it poor in terms of gripping the tablet firmly. Though the clamps do secure well-enough, they entire mechanism is wobbly and doesn't tighten well. If you accidentally turn it sideways, the tablet will slip right out. And it doesn't accommodate any of the tablet cases I've tried to keep the tablet in, not even the form fitting one. It is also not very aesthetically pleasing. All that being said, it's worth the $7. If you need something to hold your tablet in a pinch to either take a picture wit the timer or when you are using your tablet to cast to a big screen while out of the way of kids and cats, this will do the job. So long as your tripod is at least reliably sturdy. But if you plan on using this more often, better to opt for something more sturdy and reliable. Like all cheap products, you will likely need to replace this in a year or so with regular use.

This tripod and attachments works beautifully. It is exactly what I wanted.. I would recommend this for taking self portraits and group picture using your iPhone or iPad.

This tablet support is cheap and fully functional. For the price you can't go wrong. Very easy to install and use on a tripod. It is in plastic so I'm unsure about its sturdiness but i'm confident that without misuse it will last.
