Excellent for detailing models.
These pens are excellent! I was able to do touch up detailing on some scale model cars and it slowed me to work on just the small spots needed.

Sometimes you just have to believe.
This is my believe sign. I know it is meant for Christmas but I keep it up all year round. Not from laziness sake but because I think we all need something to believe in. It has gotten a bit tarnished over the years and I really wanted it to look like it did when I first bought it. I found this marker on Amazon and even though it is probably meant for models it worked perfectly. The sign has a rough texture and I really wasn't sure it would hold up but it did. I recommend it but will give a slight warning. Use it in a well ventilated area, cause I think I might have gotten a bit of a contact high from the fumes. Me and the pink elephant drinking tea with me agree this is a great product.

Nice paint pen
What a great product for small projects. The red is a nice darker shade of red. It looks great and dries fairly quickly.

Works great. Concerned about how little paint is in the marker, and how the tip will hold up on rough surfaces (already threading a little bit after use on wrinkle powder coat). Color and ease of application are perfect though!

Testors paint pen
Very good Quality enamel pen. The paint dispenser valve was very hard to open on the first use, I had to remove the felt tip and use hard small round plastic rod to push it open and reinstall the felt after.

One time use.
Works okay. Nothing spectacular. Found another brand that's identical except it has a slightly different and better tip, but obviously was by the same manufacturer. Price was compatible and application/coverage are equal quality. Overall, 4 star. Same quality product as I used 40 years ago 11/16/25 update. ONE star. Like other reviews, discovering this is a one trick pony. Great if you plan on one use. Dried immediately after breaking the inner seal and using once. On the other hand, an IDENTICAL off brand (identical to the point even the lid and pen body are indistinguishable) is still working and paint flowing. YES, they were purchased, delivered, AND first time use on the same day. Comparison experiment

New design? Now cap comes off too easily
I've used these Testers paint pens for ages - they have always been tried and true reliable and last for ages sealing tightly. Unfortunately the new one seems to have been redesigned - instead of being all metal as pictured with a cap it seems to now have a plastic insert at the bottom end and plastic press-fit cap that doesn't "snap on" as firmly and comes off easily. Mine had fallen off in shipping before I received it, requiring reassembly to attempt to use it.

great
I wanted more of a paint vs marker to use as a way to paint a car logo ( plastic ) it has alot of small areas and brush didn't work and spray paint was tough to do given the small areas. .This worked well, flows nicely, very much a deep red color and easy to apply .Much different than a sharpie which is obviously not a.paint. For the right application this is a would buy
