Larabar Blueberry Muffin Fruit and Nut Bars, Gluten Free and Vegan, 25.6 oz, 16 Ct

These are good and very healthy. They only contain a few ingredients: cashews, dates, apples, blueberries, vanilla extract. They have 5 mg sodium. These are sturdy bars that hold up well and are a good value.

First I want to note that Larabars are owned by General Mills and distributed by Small Planet Foods, (A division of General Mills.) After reading the label on the bars, (which only states where they are distributed from and neglects to mention where they are made, and no mention of General Mills anywhere on the label.) I called the 800 number and spoke to someone there, when I asked where the bars were made, what country specifically, she had to put me on hold, came back got my UPC code from my box of bars, and then told me that they were made in the USA, she stated that all Larabars are made in the USA but that they don't give out the exact location of manufacturing. I found it strange that she just didn't say, "All Larabars are made in the USA..." General Mills donated a big chunk of money to be able to continue to hide what goes into our foods, (talking about the information on the food labels) so I am feeling a bit betrayed by finding out that Larabar is owned by them and not the sunny little Denver company that originally started them. NOW, having said that! Larabars have been a favorite of mine. We're big on gluten free and sugar/sweetener free products and it's difficult to find items that have absolutely no sugar/sweeteners. I don't have a comparison bar to Larabar because I simply cannot find any other bars that are wholesome ingredients, raw, no preservatives or additives, no GMO's, gluten free and sugar/sweetener free. I should note that they are still high in carbs due to the dried fruit. Larabars satisfy my sweet tooth. These Larabar Coconut Creme Pie bars are very good and with 5g. fiber, 5mg. sodium, 4% of your recommended daily requirement of iron based on a 2000 calorie diet and 3g. protein they make the perfect nutritional sweet treat or a quick way to stave off hunger. Fresh, soft bars that are perfect for anytime. They freeze well, so if they get close to their "best by date" you can just toss them in the refrigerator or freezer.

I love the ingredients, I’ve been eating them for many many many years. Taste great and I like having them with me when I’m going golfing, fishing, camping or need a quick snack.

These are some great bars for those who need a protein snack or just something to grab on the go. I decided to try out this flavor and found it decent but not quite the best. But if you like blueberry muffin then go for it. It was just a bit sticky on the teeth, but other than that it lives up to its worth. Would recommend.

This is the most awesome-tasting Larabar ever. I've given all Larabars 5 stars, but this one (Blueberry Muffin) is the best one ever!!! If you only try one flavor of Larabar, let it be Blueberry Muffin. The Larabar people obviously are really good at what they do. They make all these Larabars taste exactly like whatever it is they are, but without any added sugar, preservatives, soy, or other bad stuff. All ingredients are natural. For example, these Blueberry Muffin Larabars (the feature Larabar) tastes just like a blueberry muffin. The Pecan Pie Larabar tastes justs like a pecan pie. The Peanut Butter Cookie Larabar tastes justs like peanut butter cookie. The Cashew Cookie Larabar, to me, tastes like shortbread cookie. The coconut Larabar tastes like an awesome coconut treat. The Lemon Bar Larabar tastes just like a lemon bar. The Banana Bread Larabar tastes just like banana bread. And so on and so forth. The Larabar people don't do just taste, but also texture. For example, this Blueberry Muffin has a different texture than the Peanut Butter Cookie or the Cashew Cookie. Those two cookies have a harder texture, like a cookie. But the blueberry muffin has a softer texture, like a muffin. I can't get over how awesome the Blueberry Muffin Larabar is. It is the perfect blend of ingredients that give it the awesome and perfect taste and texture. And they do not skimp on blueberries. I love the taste of blueberries, and it has a rich and wonderful taste of blueberries. This is the best Larabar of all of them, and I've had them all. I do love all of them, though, and I've given 5 stars to all of them. Larabars are vegan, all natural, no soy, etc. They are so good, even if you are not vegan, or don't care about healthy bars, I think you would still love them because they are so good. We don't have to skimp on taste just because they are vegan, healthy, soy-free, etc.

Snack that is good for you and made from real things.

I love that Larabars have very simple wholesome ingredients, so, for that reason I will eat the bars and be happy. However, the Blueberry Muffin bars do not taste good in my opinion (which actually makes them a good snack food to keep in my desk because I don't have any desire to munch on them unless I'm starving). The consistency is just on the solid side of gooey, this coupled with an underwhelming flavor, makes these bars pretty unappetizing. I'm not ready to give up on Larabar's though, I just think I need to try some of the other flavors.
