Venom Communications Pyramid Charger - PS3

This charger broke my controllers charge,it now won't charge atall,with a Wire or the pyramid I needed to buy a new controller

I read reviews of a few chargers before settling on this one, and I'm glad I chose it. It takes two controllers, and will have both of them fully charged in around two-and-a-half hours from a single USB port. Much better than having to switch a cable between controllers and charging them individually. An LED near the connection point for each pad shows red when charging, and blue when "fully charged". There is a slight discrepancy here, though, as the LED always turns blue while the 4 lights on the controller itself are still blinking... so just leave the pads charging until their own indicators stop blinking. It's pretty solidly built, but like a PSP it's very shiny and shows up fingerprints terribly. Not really a problem, but it can start to look fairly grubby if you don't wipe it over every so often. It's light, so you will need to hold it steady when connecting controllers... meaning that fingerprints build up very quickly. The only real down-side is that the blue LEDs around the base are very bright, and there's no way of turning them off other than disconnecting the supplied USB power lead. So if your console is in a bedroom, you may not want to leave your controllers charging when you go to bed. A switch to turn off the LEDs would have been nice

Rien à redire, fonctionnel, esthétique, insertion des manettes facile. Possibilité de passer sur un branchement secteur via un chargeur de tel usb afin de libérer un port usb de la console. (Pas difficile à trouver, n'importe quel adaptateur se branchant sur le 220 volt avec sortie usb, chargeur de tablette, cigarette électronique, il suffit de ne pas dépasser l'amperage d'entrée, soit 2A )

Ich habe eine Aufbewahrungsmöglichkeit für meine beiden PS-Controller gesucht, die optisch auch wenigstens ein klein wenig was her macht. Außerdem suchte ich eine Ladestation. Daher hab' ich mir vor ein paar Wochen den Venom Pyramid Charger gekauft und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Das Produkt vereint die Lösung für beide Bedürfnisse (Laden/Aufbewahren). Das Gerät lässt sich einfach per USB mit der PS3 verbinden. Die Halterungs-Aufnahmen für die Controller passen sehr gut und die Beleuchtung ist relativ gleichmäßig - natürlich ist die Leuchtkraft an den Stellen, an denen die LEDs plaziert sind etwas intensiver ;) Farbliche Unterschiede, Ausfälle oder Flackern bei den LEDs habe ich nicht feststellen können. Seit dem Kauf habe ich das Gerät ununterbrochen an der PS3 hängen und mindestens ein Controller ist immer angeschlossen, während ich mit dem anderen zocke. Auch im ausgeschalteten Zustand nehme ich die Controller nicht ab (das war ja der Sinn bei der Aufbewahrung) und trenne auch nicht die USB-Verbindung. Den Akku-Laufzeiten der Controller hat dies bislang nocht nichts ausgemacht. Ich nutze die PS3 durchschnittlich häufig. Das Design finde ich ansprechend und die Lack-Optik der Pyramide passt sehr gut zum PS3-Design. Insgesamt hätte das Prodekt etwas schwerer sein dürfen, damit man es beim An- und Abstecken der Controller nicht festhalten muss. Das ist aber angesichts des Preises m. E. tragbar. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Produkt. ____________________ Nachtrag zur ursprünglichen Bewertung vom Dezember 2010: Das Ding ist immer noch im Einsatz und funzt prächtig. LEDs sind keine ausgefallen. Würde ich wieder kaufen.

Bought this to charge my PS3 Dualshocks, cause I didn't want cables sticking out of the console and the controllers can be charged indepently from the PS3. Bought a USB Charger to plug into the mains and it sits nice on my desk next to my Move charging unit.
