The reviews that claim "it doesn't fit", didn't read the description. It is the same diameter as a 2" pipe, so it doesn't fit in the pipe, it fits in the different 2" pvc pipe fittings. In my application, I'm using it for a rain water collection system to catch larger items like leaves. I installed gutter leaf guards last year, but I'm still getting a few leaves in my downspout. So, I've added this onto a clean-out fitting so that it catches the leaves and I can open the clean out and easily pull them out. It fits snugly, just like a pipe would. I didn't put it all the way in so that I could use it to join the clean-out with the Tee that distributes the water to the different tanks. Works great! Exactly what I needed. Update: Catches leaves and bugs.

Nice furnace vent cap screen. Can be sanded down to fit nice and tight. Proper to specifications size recommended by furnace manufacturer.

Needed a little sanding to fit. I chose NOT to glue it and make it permanent. Used a couple of screws to keep in place and now its removable. Keeps the bees and rodents out. So much better than the plastic screen from the big box stores. Would buy again.
