Ring Spare Parts for Ring Wired Doorbell Pro (Video Doorbell Pro 2)

Worked perfectly! Great option instead of buying a whole new unit. My daughter sold her house and forget to take that part of it.

Needed the power kit and this was cheaper to buy as spare parts and it works great and nice to have spare parts just incase and it was easy to install nice size as well fits perfectly in the door bell chime housing

It fixed the problem with the chime humming or ringing at odd times of the day or night.

Was getting phantom doorbell rings a few times daily on an older Doorbell Pro 2. It said transformer power was fine but I replaced that and still was having issues. I swapped out this pro power kit at the doorbell chime and the problem has ceased. I don't know what caused the original pro power kit (that came with the doorbell) to become faulty, nor do I know how one might diagnose it, but this did solve the phantom ringing issue.

The replacement part was a perfect fit and easy to change out.

This kit is amazingly cheap, at $1.99, and it was a life-saver. An electrical storm knocked out my Ring doorbell. I wasn't entirely sure what part was damaged, but I had my suspicions that it was a little rectangular plastic box with the name "Ring Power Kit" on it, that was attached to the wiring of my old, traditional doorbell. I read about the 'power kit' online and found out that its purpose is voltage / current limiting---and I also found out that it's discontinued. I couldn't find it for sale on the Ring website. I then ordered this kit, which provided a new one, swapped the new power kit for the old one, and my doorbell came back to life, magically. I ordered 2 more of these kits in case lightning storms 'fry' that part again, in the future.
