Adey MC1 Heating Protector

Nothing in our house was particularly well maintained before we moved in and the heating system was no exception. No idea when inhibitor was most recently added, but after a few years of living here we had some work done that required the system to be fully drained and re-filled, so I added a couple of bottles of this MC1 inhibitor. We fitted a MagnaClean Pro 2 at the same time, and after a couple of weeks it was absolutely filthy and full of magnetite, which I cleaned out. After that, I checked regularly, but it was over a year before it was worth cleaning, and after another year it's still pretty clean, so I guess this MC1 stuff does the job.

Essential additive to central heating system. It keeps the circulation of fluid in pipes quiet. This is a top-up after two years.

Re-inhibited my system and installed an Adey mag filter at the same time. The whole system now appears to be much, much cleaner, and I'd like to think it will carry on for many more years without problems. Yes you can buy cheaper products but what are you actually buying, better to do the job once and once only. Will probably empty it all out next year and put fresh in, and then make it a routine every two years. Dead easy to fill via the Adey mag filter bowl, so no hardship whatsoever.

Always buy this product to maintain the efficiency of the boiler and central heating system. Bought with MC3 to clean out first, before draining and flushing system and then putting in the MC1. Not much more I can say in that the stuff works. Good delivery and delivered on time with no issues.
