This has made the nail trimming process so much easier
I bought this clipper because I wanted to avoid bleeding during nail trimming. I was under the impression that the hole in the clipper would only allow a small portion of the nail through so bleeding would not occur. This is not the case. Bleeding can and will happen if you're not careful. What this clipper does do is ensure you are ONLY clipping the nail you want to clip. One pain point using tradition, human and pet, clippers is that I was always worried another toe or nail would get snagged while trying to line up the nail I was targeting. This makes selecting the target nail much easier and safer. The technique I use for my green cheek conure is, I insert the nail in the hole and I watch the opposite end of the hole until the correct portion of the nail is sticking through. Then I cut. If I think I didn't get enough nail, I usually decide to wait until the next clipping session to go further up the nail. Clipping smaller portions of the nail is difficult, and all too easy to go too far and cause bleeding. It's worth it to wait a week or two and try again. To train my bird to be comfortable with the clipper I did about two weeks worth of mock clipping sessions. At about two weeks he was very comfortable with the clipper and then I was able to actually clip his nails. It was totally worth the time because every clipping session since has been so easy, for both of us. This clipper is awesome. It's sharp and cuts well on the first try. No snags or partial cuts. I might buy another as a backup in case I lose it.

BEST, SAFEST & EASIEST TO USE IN MY LIFETIME
These clippers are the best clippers I’ve ever had. I’ve had numerous dogs and cats in the past 40 years ranging from 180 pounds St Bernard’s to 8 pound cats. I’m 66 now and only wish I had these clippers 40 years ago. I can’t express how easy and worry-less it is to clip my Shitzu’s nails. It’s a little hard to get the right size but after I ordered a pair they were to small. I contacted the seller and the woman was the nicest Customer Service I’ve spoken to in I don’t know how long. She was more than happy to send me a different size and a size chart card with the proper size nail holes so you can put your Baby’s nail in the hole that fits the best size you need. It was well worth the wait believe me ! They only allow a 5 star rating as the highest on Amazon but I would give the product and service 10 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ myself ! She also sent a postage paid return receipt so when you open the package just cut along the top and you can put the label on the one used to send it to you and then bend the top over and tape the package envelope closed again ! Super easy !

Makes trimming easier
This are a bit pricey, but so far are worth the money. I bought the XXS and XS. The XXS work well for the front and back claws of my 8 pound kitten and for the front claws of my 13 pound cat. The XS work best for the back claws of my bigger cat. So I am keeping both sizes. Now the reason these are awesome, once you have the right size they are quick and easy to use. My kitten is still resistant to having her claws clipped, so I do it while she sleeps. I can now get 5 or 6 snips before she stirs. So I can get both her front paws done in two attempts. With other clippers I could only get 1 or 2 snips at a time. For my older cat these are more efficient and I don’t have to worry about cutting too close. Additionally they don’t crush the claw.

High quality clippers but sizing is difficult for cats
The clippers are high quality, well made, comfortable and the right overall size. It's very easy to get this on and off a cat's claw. Unfortunately my two cats multiple have different sized claws, so one side of these clippers doesn't exactly work. If you use the smaller size some claws are left a lot longer than others, and if you use one too big you can't trust them to protect your cat's smaller claws. Even though these are still easier to use and safer than any other clippers I've ever used on cat claws.

These are nice pet nail clippers for cats.
I didn't know what size clippers to buy so I purchased this size and another size with the thought of returning if they don't work. I also hoped the bigger ones would work for my small chihuahua dogs. The smaller ones worked okay for a cat nail, but the bigger ones were still too small for my chihuahua dogs. On the bigger ones I didn't do an exchange on them because I felt, though they might work well if I got a bigger pair, I was only allowed one free exchange. I felt as nice as they are they are too expensive even though they could be nice. These are like all pet clippers. It depends on how your pets nails are formed and thickness. If you have more than one pet with different sizes of nails, you could never afford to buy enough of these for each pet because they are too expensive. The way these clippers work it caused my chihuahua dogs too much pain. They were also too small to clip enough nail off and some of their nails were different sizes, so you might have to buy several different sizes to cut just one pets nails? The smaller ones for the cat would work fine (if my darn cat would let me cut his nails). Someday maybe my cat will let me use these on his nails, but if he never allows me to do this I have a small pair of expensive pet nail clippers I will never use? If they weren't so pricy they would be a good buy. Though they appear to be well made, I don't believe any hand pet nail clippers are worth the price I paid for them when I purchased them. They aren't that well made, not at that price. So it is the price that is why people should think twice before they buy them. I have other old pet nail clippers or even the human ones that I use work just as well. If your cat or dog won't hold still no pet clipper works. They say you get what you pay for, but by no means, even though they work on cats, they aren't worth the price. They aren't any more convenient to use than other pet nail clippers. Hope their price comes down. They ought to sell for cheap a chart to test if the small openings will work on people's pets before they pay the high price to have one of these delivered. Along with each clipper came a little cardboard card chart with holes in it where you could test to see which one of these nail clippers work on your pets. Remember you might need to buy more than one of these pet clippers if your dog or pet has different sized nails on their paws which many pets do. One size doesn't fit all nail sizes for this very restrictive size kind of pet clipper. Nice design but it just isn't applicable for even one pet much less if you have several pets. Maybe if they weren't so expensive you could afford 2 or 3 of these just for one or several pets? Nice design if it would work for all sizes of pet nails in one pair of these pet clippers or if they would just lower the price so people could afford to buy more than one pair to fit the need.

Clip their nails before before they even know what's happening
These are awesome, no chance of snipping off too much nail or cutting other parts of the paw. Make sure to get the right size; you can contact the company for a sizing guide. I didn't know about the sizing guide and bought the wrong size (too big) the first time. All my cat are medium to large, 2.5 mm was too big, 2.0 mm was perfect and takes off plenty of nail without getting close to hurting them. Nail falls into the hole and gets snipped, so easy.

1.5mm is the perfect size!
These are excellent for my cats! I’m so glad the hole is 1.5mm! It’s the perfect size for my cats. The 2mm was making them bleed. I definitely recommend them!

Good in concept
Concept: A plus. They cut well, and they are easy to use. Quality seems great too. These are great little clippers.. if they fit your pet. And that’s a little tricky. I gotta give the company props, they try to make this easy, with multiple sizes available and a little cardboard sizing kit. But it’s tricky to really accurately size your pet. (I bought two, and the smallest is still too big). An additional smaller size would be useful (maybe more, I know bird owners clip claws, and they are a popular pet, but I would assume there are other smaller pet claws that need clipping). There are several sizes available, which is good, it covers a wide range, but it doesn’t cover everything. Don’t assume that the smallest size will be safe for your pet. Many birds claws will go completely up to the top of the nail in the smallest size available, which can be dangerous. Additionally, if the whole claw is able to go through the whole, it can get stuck if the pet is jerking around (as they tend to) and it can be difficult to safely get the clippers off the nail. Pay attention when you are cutting your pets nails that you don’t clip to short. Note: for reference to those purchasing for birds, the smallest available clipper is too big for a galah cockatoo. So anything medium sized parrot or smaller, the smallest is the one you are looking at and you are still going to have to be extremely careful when doing your trims. Be careful not to let them get stuck in the clippers, not that they make that easy.

Super convenient!
These nail trimmers make grooming sessions with my fur baby sooooooooo much better! Like 1000% better. For realz. Turnip and I both used to be so scared and stressed out when it was time to cut the kitty's nails! It was pretty dang awful. I was always so worried I would clip into the quick of her nailbed and hurt her, as my princess poopmaker kitty is really small and a really squiggly wiggly little crybaby. First trimming session with these was shockingly fast and stress-free. I was able to swoop in and clip each nail properly on the first try, without needing to wrap her up and restrain her in a towel while she cried, like usual. The very first clip was probably the shortest amount of time I've ever taken to do a clip - her nail just slid in like butter, to exactly the right depth, then the cut was as clean and clear as sparkling springtime mountain glacier water dappled in sunlight and angel dust. :) However, the nail trimmers are kinda ugly tbh. I wish they were shaped like a shark or pterodactyl or something so they fit in better with my home decor theme. Or at least a purple glitter version to match Turnip's collar. Ahhh, I suppose kitty and I could have a crafting party to jazzify it up a bit. I'll have to catch her attention first though, as she barely noticed that these nail clippers exist, even when I was using them on her! YAY ugly cat nail clippers, I love you! 😻

Have the full set, worth their weight in gold
I have different sized dogs including Chihuahuas, toy poodles and min schnauzers. I purchased one pair to try, loved them, so I purchased a full set (except the very largest which i don;t need) Yes it was expensive to purchase the full set, but they are worth their weight in gold in my opinion, I can choose exactly the right size for each of my dogs, and I havn't nipped a quick at all since using these. The dogs are not as nervous with these as they are with normal clippers, and they are so quick and easy, and safe. I don;t use them for puppies, just adults as they are a bit bulky for small pups. they are perfect, a very good buy and recommended.
