Dirty Pretty Things (Volume 1) (Michael Faudet)

Hello. Just going to do a short review about shipping, handling and feedback about the book. The book came 3 days in advance. It was completely sealed up along with bubble wrap.The book does not have a hard cover or hard spine. The pages are paper. The design of the cover reminds me of Rorschach images, inspired. There is only 256 pages in the book. As soon as I got the book, I actually couldn't stop reading it. It is a book full of poems. I read half of it when it arrived. The book can be story telling and on the other end very picturesque. I have no complaints. Thank you!

Recently got into these poetry books. I own six and borrowed a few others from various authors, and "Dirty Pretty Things" is by far my favorite. The poems are so sexy, passionate, and beautifully written. I love the sensual short stories as well. This book incited the most emotion out of all the poetry books I've read so far, and made me hopeful and excited for a love like the one found in these pages!

The first book I got shipped was in pretty horrible conditions for being a new copy. However, I returned the book and they send me a new copy!Now, I have read some of the poems and I personally like it. In my opinion the poems in this book touch on all the components of "love" such as Lust, Desire, The feeling of love and the hopeless feeling of loss and heart break.

I’m not sure why my book was delivered to me with a slash of black marker on the bottom , that was probably done in the factory ... other than that the poetry is beautiful 💞

Michael Faucet is my new favorite author I bought this book for my boyfriend he loved it. It will make you long for your significant other

I could not help myself but to keep reading it until I finished the book. Your brain cells would taste the sweetness and savory of every sentence.This is a book that gives different feelings every time you turn the page, at times you'd think that you had a dirty thoughts but you just scratched the surface. It reboots your wires

Love this book! One of my favorite poetry books. It always takes me to another place and makes me feel in love again

Dirty Pretty Things é como um diário íntimo retratando momentos de um casal em forma de texto e poesia. Embora tenha boas passagens, algumas estrofes meigas, achei que o livro tivesse mais a oferecer, às vezes soava um pouco superficial para mim, ou até um pouco falso. Ainda sim, recomendo a leitura. A perspectiva de cada leitor e o modo de sentir a poesia é única afinal.

I remember seeing this book and excerpts from it on Tumblr many moons ago, it seemed fate that it came up as a suggested book for me. It exceeded all of my expectations and I look forward to reading more of Michael’s work.
