It's already available. After all, I bought one.

Has anyone tried taking hot food in it, would it keep things hot until lunch time? I have not been able to find a container of any sort that would.

Zojirushi makes food containers. I have a thermos of theirs - the first time I used it, my tea was still too hot to drink literally 24 hours later.

My boyfriend absolutely loves this lunch box. He can fit his lunch plus a 2L water bottle without any problem, and it still closes easily. It’s also very sturdy—he can comfortably sit on it during his breaks. Great quality and very practical! A little big but worth it
