Metagenics - Candibactin-BR - 90 Tablets [Health and Beauty]

I have taken this supplement for quite some time. It always helps with problems when I have candida. It arrived on time.

I used CandiBactin BR in 2004 as a part of a candida cleanse. The product was recommended by a nutritionist at the Continuum Center for Health and Healing in New York City. I first did a round of oral ketoconazole as prescribed by my gynecologist. I then used CandiBactin for 3 months while also on a very strict candida diet. At the time, I was so sick that I experienced a lot of stomach upset with this product initially, but I kept with it, and my stomach upset resolved over time, and my candida symptoms finally went away. I ended up staying on the diet for a year, and I didn't have any further yeast problems for 6 years. I'm personally pretty convinced through my own trial and error with products that a) this is one of the very best and b) that there is a strong connection between yeast and the liver. CandiBactin has ingredients that both kill yeast as well as assist in liver cleansing. Once I finished the regimen, I followed the use of CandiBactin BR with Metagenics probiotics, which I stayed on for several years until I was no longer able to buy them at Invite Health (then I switched to Renew Life). Last year, the yeast came back, so I decided to give CandiBactin BR another try, also while working with a nutritionist. I'm once again on the candida diet and I've now been on these pills for about a month. My experience this time around is easier--I've had very little stomach discomfort at all, and things are going well. I feel like it's too soon to say I've had another "cure" (I use that term loosely because for those with chronic candida, it's not so much a cure as coaxing the yeast back into remission since it's something that is a natural part of the human ecosystem that needs to be put back into balance). But, I'm very encouraged. Also, this time around, I'm taking probiotics in the morning and the CandiBactin BR at night. Not sure if this matters or will make a difference, but I figure it can't really hurt. And once I'm done with the CandiBactin BR, I'll definitely keep taking the probiotics. So, that's my current story. I think it's a great, high-quality product. Also, I have a ton of allergies and food sensitivities, and this product doesn't seem to bother me at all (for example, I've had bad reactions to Standard Process products, straight up grapefruit seed extract and oil of oregano). Definitely check the label and make sure this will be OK for you in terms of allergies, but I HIGHLY recommend it and feel that I was steered in the right direction in 2004 and again today.

For all those who take this for SIBO and constipation, here's why it works: because many of the herbs in it have laxative properties. These herbs are Chinese rhubarb, Chinese licorice, and coptis chinensis. Look them up on various herb web sites and you'll find out for yourself. If you doubt that herbs can make you poop, then you got to a drugstore and get an OTC laxative that has senna in it--which is an herb. So if you stop taking this stuff and stop going poop, now you know why. And I know what I'm talking about because I have SIBO [methane predominant] and constipation and have used various herbs before to make me go. So I'm going to just drink prune juice when I wanna go empty myself.

In conjunction with Candibactin AR works as well or better than the prescription Xaxifan and Pub Med studies have proven it! My gastro doctor when I showed him and how well it worked was impressed. So is my primary doctor. And FAR FAR FAR cheaper!! In Feb or 2016 10 pills of the script with insurance was $141.91! Both of these together was $60. I still have plenty and only need to take about 4 days and not again for 4-5 months unlike the script which was every 3-4 weeks!

How can you deliver a product like this, in a BAG, when you know items in GLASS BOTTLES are subject to breakage, especially with the ROUGH manner in which products are packaged and shipped. C'mon, Metagenics, help a family out!

I noticed that it started working when I ate a clean diet. Bacteria feed out of sugar and processed foods and carbohydrates like bread, pasta, wheat. Had to change to a Clean Keto diet with no eggs, milk or butter. Sometimes I get a lot of gas, but my Doctor told me that, that’s the bacteria and that should pass, but I had to continue taking the candibactin and diet. Since I started sticking to the diet the medication started working. My tongue is looking less coated and my breath is slowly stinking less. It’s going to take time, you just got to stick to it!

My doctor put me on a protocol and this was one of the products. Felt so much better after using. I would use this again.

I am a Sibo patient and have good and bad news about Berberine BR. It definitely works for Sibo my symptoms disappeared within days of starting it. The bad news was the Acid reflux it caused was the worst of my life. So be cautious if you have a history of GERD!
