Wonderful Full Frame lens with outstanding sharpness
I didn't want to pay full price for the lens so I took a chance and bought a used lens thru amazon. I was very happy with the purchase. It was in almost new condition and it was $300 less than the full price. This lens is not really small but it's not as huge as some of the other full frame lenses for Sony cameras. Coming from an a6300 I was used to compact and lightweight so it was a compromise to buy a full frame a7cii and a few other FF lenses. I already had 4 in my arsenal but I wanted lower light prime and 24mm is perfect for me. (IF I want a longer focal length I only have to put it in ASP-C mode) The lens is a perfect balance for the A7cii. Not too large and very balanced. The autofocus is spot on for a Sony lens. It has several buttons on it that make it a "G" lens although I don't always use them but I'm glad they're there. If you're on the fence about a low light prime you will be very happy with this 24mm "G" lens. The filter thread isn't ridiculous and I have a few other lenses with the same filter thread OR I just a step up or step down ring. I've gotten incredible photos with this lens and I can't wait to use it for more photography.

I’m in love with this lens
I ordered the lens on June 13th and received it today July 12th. After a couple hours walking around I’m just in love with it. I’m a portrait photographer and usually use short tele lenses. 105mm is my go to. I love an 85mm when I don’t have much room. I decided to challenge myself in order to learn and grow. So I ordered this 24mm and boy it was worth the wait. Images are so sharp, color is amazing and you can get great bokeh but very little distortion on the corners. Also my copy makes no noise when focusing. This doesn’t really matter to me since I don’t shoot videos but I read reviews claiming it’s loud but mine is absolutely silent. I made it hunt in the dark and no noise. Focus is fast and accurate. At least on still subjects. Eye AF works perfectly on my A7iii. People and dogs. It’s my first G lens and construction feels great. By holding it it’s about the same size and weight of my Zeiss batis 85mm. I can’t wait to try it some more and use it for work. At this point everything feels perfect so no cons.
