Does the bit hit a stop so you can apply downward pressure on the bit to keep it in the screw head by applying pressure to the wrench?

Mike, this tool does keep the bit from pushing through, I have even ground the butts of the bits down to fit in even tighter areas. I love this tool, I am an aircraft mechanic and use it nearly every day.

This is probably a really dumb question.. How do you fit the bits on the ratchet? I see the adapter for the sockets but not the bits.

The sockets all require the hex to 1/4" drive adapter, the smaller driver bits will fit the ratchet directly.

I assume "internal feature" means spring-loaded bearings. Do normal bits stay in place well?

I love this rachet set. The bits with the set stay in place great. I'm not sure about normal bits. The price is right too!
