Had to buy a new light for my flag pole after my flag fell to the ground during a blizzard. This light seems much brighter than my old light and seems to really light up my flags. It was very easy to apply to my flag ave I would buy this item again if I needed a flag light.

Love how it illuminates my flag (s) at night. My area gets a good helping of sunlight and this solar light does it’s job the second the sun sets, shuts off when the sun is up. great addition to my flag pole. Fly them high!

This thing keeps going, I bought this 4 years ago. It has made it through blizzards and nor'easters. It's amazing. Still runs all night. It has been blown off the the top of the flagpole a few times and keeps working! I was just sitting and looking at it annoying a nice adult beverage and can't believe how long this thing has lasted.

This is decent solar rechargeable LED pole light. The 1/2-inch diameter mounting hole makes it adaptable to many DIY projects, not just your flagpole. The seller's description is off a bit and not in a bad way. The light INCLUDES three 2200mah rechargeable batteries. A big plus over the previous light which only had two 1800mah batteries. The batteries had some charge, but I switched them out with some fresh batteries from my charger. The alien saucer shaped light is solid plastic with no give when twisted lightly. The are 6 solar panels on the top. The batteries insert on the bottom thru removable plastic panels that are not weatherized. The on/off switch is weatherized with a decent rubber cover. I'm using this light on my Sunsetter flagpole. The seller didn't include any installation instructions. Here's some basic installation instructions if anyone needs them: Lower your pole. Spin your ball shaft and nut off the pole. Center the lights' hole over the pole's hole. Re-insert your ball shaft and nut into both holes. Turn your ball shaft finger tight. Adjust your ball shaft nut as needed. Raise your pole. When I first installed this light, with fresh batteries, it was 6:18pm. I checked the light again at 6:00am. Still bright with no reduction in lighting noted. The light was unable to charge the first day due to storms. The light still came on and stayed lit until the following 6:00am. Although I did notice the LED were much dimmer. I would estimate a 50% reduction in light. Not too shabby for a LED that has been on for approx. 24 hours during the past 48 hours without a recharge. My only concern, and why I took away a star, is because of the battery panels. Even though they are on the bottom of the light, they are still subject to moisture and blowing rain. I plan on checking the battery compartments in 1 month and at 6 months. I'll update this review then. The seller should have included basic instructions in the generic glossy white box. Instead they included a note begging for positive feedback. I uploaded 2 pictures of the light at night for your enjoyment.

Easy to install, plenty bright to light up under the flagpole at a great price

I bought a flagpole several, several months ago and finally installed it. Where it is placed is far from electricity so no way to get electricity to a light to shine on flag at night. I bought a solar light from Lowe's that is placed in the ground and is aimed to shine on the flag. It just was not powerful enough and did not stay in position and did not last all night. I saw this flag pole light and decided to give it a try. Flag etiquette requires lighting of the flag at night. I am sooooo pleased with this light. I can't believe it. It is an awesome light!!!! Easy to install, and was charged when I received it, but before we installed it, we made sure the switch was turned off and put it outside for a couple days to make sure it was charged completely. I was so please the first night. It actually worked. But I was concerned about it staying lit all night. I get up before dawn most mornings and the first morning after we installed it, the light was still shining!!!! I was so excited! It's been 2 days and it still working great!! Hopefully, this will last for a while. I highly recommend this flagpole light from Sunnytech.... It's awesome!! It is now almost 11 months since I purchased this light. I'm still loving it and is still awesome!! I did have a problem with it though. It stopped working about 10 months after I purchased it. I took it down and 1 of the solar panels had come lose. I was somewhat frustrated, but I contacted the business and they sent me a new one with no charge. They have wonderful customer service. If you have a problem, I highly suggest contacting the company. They will be more than happy to take care of it. Wonderful company!!!

Fit like a glove on my uncommon usa brand 20 ft flag pole. Wish it was a little brighter but for the price it does illuminate the flag at night and thats all I need it to do. Im glad to see the batteries that it had inside are readily available through Amazon. Def worth it if you need a flag pole topper light.

THE PRODUCT IS BRILLIANT AND ENHANCES MY FLAG AND FLAG POLE DISPLAY WONDERFULLY, A VERY VERY GOOD PURCHASE

Works great, nice and bright.... and if you don't have exactly the right threaded pin on your flag all you likely need to do is get a 1/2" or so bolt/nut and rubber washers and thread it through the top cap of the pole with the light on top and tighten it up. I am far from a handyman but it took me about 5 minutes to figure out how to make it work with my pole.

Bought it for Christmas, just installed it. Went right through the night on 4 hours of charge. White light makes the white on the Canadian flag pop, the stars on the American flag would really show well. Nice circle of light around the pole brightens up the yard but doesn’t glare. Great product.

Usually not happy with the quality of most solar lighting but this product is the exception. Not only does the light have a large footprint but the light lasts the whole night. Excellent product well worth the price.

Very easy to install. Nice glow at night. Almost lights up the entire flag
