Good Alternative for Filtrete Air Filters
I have ordered these a few times and come back to these as they are a quality product at a reasonable price. I like to buy the 6-pack as it is more economical and a good idea to have extras on hand. I usually write the current date on the filter when I install it and make a note in my calendar so I can remember to replace it when needed. Conduct research to determine which MERV rating is best suited for your specific situation, as this affects airflow. Overall, the filters are sturdy, fit well, and are easy to install.

Good filters
Been buying Nordic pure for years now, it’s nice they deliver to my door and been working well and cost is good compared to going to big box stores.

A highly efficient home HVAC filter that pulled a lot of grunge from my system ...
The MERV factor was what I was looking for in this particular filter. I’d tried out another brand, with a MERV factor of 13, but am equally satisfied with the Nordic Pure brand. I’d read a lot of reviews on a variety of filters and these appeared to be reliable and effective. I decided to try them out to see for myself just how good they were. MERV stands for Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value, something that tells me exactly how efficient a filter is. We’d been using some inexpensive ones much lower MERV factor (some as low as 6), but because of the dust in this house I wanted something even more efficient. The Nordic Pure are MERV 12, one number short of the highest MERV that a household would use. Anything higher usually is used in an industrial or hospital setting. I want to eliminate as many allergens as I can from our duct system. Dirt, pollen, allergens, dust, and on and on. The usual recommend on replacing a filter is two or three months, but the Nordic Pure, as did the other ones I used, are pulling out so much from my furnace system, I decided I’ll change them out once a month. It’s a small price to pay for keeping a healthy household. I was surprised (or maybe I wasn’t) at just how much both brands of filters I used pulled out in a single month. I simply checked out the size of the filters we were already using (a must) and took a chance on ordering. Needless to say, I’m really pleased with the quality and the function of the Nordic filters. At around six dollars a month, if I so choose to swap them out, it’s a bargain. I do have a lot of allergies, but since I’ve been using a filter with a higher MERV factor, I haven’t had as many issues.

Great, for the price (see details)! Recommended
I replace my air filters as directed by the fan timers in my thermostats, and considering I bulk buy my filters, it'd been a while since I'd last purchased any. Maybe it's that 3M is busy making masks, but I was surprised to see that the cost of my regular 3M Filtrete filters had skyrocketed. Given that, it was time to find an alternative. While the Nordic Pure 16x25x1 MERV 12 Pleated AC Furnace Air Filter (Box of 6) are not as nice as the Filtretes I'm used to, they are still well made. The filter frame, while cardboard, doesn't flex or collapse with a large negative pressure load. Even though the filter sizes are standard, I've found that the frame dimensions have some variation, from manufacturer to manufacturer... in this regard, Nordic Pure is a little smaller than what I'm used to, but I do think that everyone should be using take to seal up the sides anyway. What's the point of a nice filter, if you're just going to suck in garbage around the perimeter, right? As far as the filter goes, I'm happy with the performance. I'm used to 2200-2400 MPR, but went lower in this case. The filtration performance is a bit lower, but with the benefit of flow rate (which helps with the undersized unit at that side of the house). "Lower" performance is a relative declaration... the filters are still worlds better than all of the low to mid-tier ones that you'd get at a hardware store. Recommended. ❤️ If you found my review helpful, please let Amazon know by clicking the helpful button below

I have been using these for 2 years for home and work. Price is what attracted me to them. Good quality air cleaning is what keeps me using this and nothing else. Our home is 750sq' with three cats and two humans on the Saskatchewan prairies. We often have the furnace fan running when no temperature controls are on, to circulate air and save on heat/cooling-- also creates more of a whole home filtration. So I would say 50% of the time the fan is on regardless of heating and cooling. These filters last 5-7 weeks and keep our home very clean. We do not have to dust too often; notably comparable or slightly better than much more expensive brands. There is 5-7 day less life in the summer on average due to outdoor environmental dust entering from open windows.

These filters fit my furnace perfectly and work well. Great price and it's nice having lots of filters on hand for replacing your filter at regular intervals.

These air filters seem to be working out well. After another couple of months we will know for sure as it will be time to replace them. How much dust and dirt they have collected will tell whether or not they are doing their job as they should.

I first bought a box of 6 and they were great. I change my filter every 3 months and these stay strong and do not bend or crumple over that time. Filtration is great. The air in my home is clean and fresh.
