This cabinet is very basic and it works. I am primarily using it just to organize spare keys, not to actually keep them secure. For this purpose it works well. It comes with mounting hardware and I mounted it to my wall. It also comes with many keychain labels which were flimsy, but a nice add. I knocked off one star just because the door still has some play in it when closed that makes it feel flimsy and doesn't make me confident that it would be very secure if I was worried about someone breaking in.

I am very happy with this key box. I was worried that it was going to be thin and flimsy because of the price but it is made with thick metal and is very sturdy. The key rings that come with the tags are flimsy so I am going to buy thicker key rings but that is the only negative I have for this.

Great box for a great price! One thing, if you overload it and it becomes stuck like mine did...do not tear it open or rip it out of the wall...simply remove the pin from the piano hinge using a small nail, tap it up and remove accordingly. When replacing, spray with lubricant for ease of use. If you desire, use the same procees along with a metal cutting piler to remove center divide.

This key lockbox is not functional. We had to remove the locking mechanism because the lock would catch to the keys and cause the latch to now turn to the open position. The number stickers have weak adhesive, so we had to make our own. If you need to TRULY SECURE your keys, this lockbox is NOT your answer.

The cabinet is well made having a powder coated steel body with a full length piano hinge welded to the cover. The separation between the interior wall and outside cover is a little tight for modern automobile key fobs or large key chains. The cabinet is easy to hang with the supplied hardware and includes key markers as well as adhesive numbers for the hooks. So far the only draw back has been the adhesive numbers, you have to install them yourself and they have begun to fall off. Overall I would buy again.

La fabrication est plutôt de bonne qualité, les finitions sont très bonnes et le système d’accroche des clés est ingénieux : il permet vraiment d’éviter que les clés ne tombent, même en le manipulant fortement. Les porte-clés à étiquette sont bien mieux que ceux que l’on trouve habituellement, sans pour autant être trop encombrants. Alors oui, pour le prix, il est clair que ce n’est pas un coffre-fort. Néanmoins, pour un usage quotidien chez un particulier ou dans une petite entreprise, il fera très bien l’affaire. D’autant que ses dimensions sont idéales : ni trop grand, ni trop petit. Je trouve également son look plutôt sympa, cela change des armoires à clés habituelles. Les produits Amazon Basics sont en général assez qualitatifs, tout en restant abordables, et celui-ci en est la preuve.

Well made and sturdy as well as being a bargain for the price, key tags are very handy and the stickers are as good as expected, most the bad reviews are about the lock becoming jammed but it seems fine to me, it may be coming loose for them, there is a screw that can be tightened insid, ill make sure to keep an eye on it and update the review if necessary. Cons - Inner hinged key flap can get stuck behind the locking latch when closing if it's against the door, to remedy this you can cut the foam block used to protect it into a shape that allows it to close and not get jammed (As pictured). Or you can always close it before closing the outer door, but this is an easy fix that i preferred. Key chains are flimsy which is to be expected, but as long as its not being tugged on it'll be fine, if it will be id buy other key chains.
