Very nice and quality
I used one spicy self in each cabinet. It was easy to put together. I actually had to take apart and put together a couple of times to get it in the cabinet the way that I wanted it to be, but that’s just me playing around with it. The instructions were a bit difficult, but it’s pretty self-explanatory so I was able to wing it without them. I didn’t even think about the size of it fitting into my cabinet or anything so I am very glad it came with different extensions to make it different widths. Another thing I did not think to measure was how deep my cabinet is, but luckily it fit perfectly. Now I can see all of my spices with ease, and I don’t end up with 10 different bottles of sage that I only really use during the holidays. 😂

Organized Spice Cupboard
For years my spice cupboard was in disarray where you had to pull out half of the spices to find the one you were looking for. It was something I hated about my kitchen, but I was never motivated to change it. I recently had company stay at our home and knew they would want to cook. To avoid embarrassment, I decided I needed to organize the space. Based on reviews, ended up purchasing this spice shelf. When I opened it, it was a little overwhelming due to the number of pieces provided. After reading the instructions, it was clear you could put the shelf together in a number of different configurations and each option required different pieces. It took a minute to figure out which configuration would best suit the space I had, but once I knew, putting the shelf together was fairly easy. I now have a wonderfully organized spice shelf which I LOVE! If I had known it would make me this happy, I would have done it years ago.

Great organizer. I recommend it…but
I like this product a lot and recommend it. I’m giving it 4 stars because someone put a lot of thought into designing and creating a very adaptable product. It could be 5 stars with a few changes. There are 2 shelves in a box and they are well packaged. The 1st picture shows 2 shelves (1 box) set up side-by-side and then another pair stacked on top…2 units, 4 shelves total The cabinet interior is 23-1/2 inches wide which is wider than what one shelf will extend. I will have to say that the spacers got me pretty close…like less than 1/4 inch close. This review will be a bit long, mainly due to the fact that you really can’t just assemble these (though they are easy to assemble), stick them in a cabinet and load them up. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Design: pretty well designed. Whoever designed it must have spent their youth playing with Legos or K’nex blocks because this is how these go together. There are a couple of design flaws though. The first is that hardwood cabinets always have a nail cleat at the top and bottom of the cabinet (see 2nd picture). The installer will screw into this cleat rather than the cabinet back to attach to the wall. MDF cabinets like you will get at Lowe’s or Home Depot or have in an apartment don’t have these cleats. The Spice Shelf won’t fit all the way to the back of the cabinet leaving a gap between the shelf and the back of the cabinet depending on the thickness of the cleat (see 3rd picture). Now if your cabinet is narrow enough that only one shelf fits in it then mounting the Spicy Shelf on the cabinet shelf pins would solve this. This brings me to the second design problem…you cannot put 2 Spicy Shelves side-by-side and have them supported by shelf pins because there is nothing to support the middle of the 2 shelves. I understand why, but I think a different leg could be designed to allow this. There is also no way of securely connecting 2 side-by-side shelves. They just sort of flop around. Fortunately I had a couple of machine screws and locknuts that I used to fasten them together using the slots for the side screws. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Construction: The fit and finish is pretty good. I had a couple of legs that didn’t seem to fit tightly into the slots, but it wasn’t horrible. The back legs fit the worst. They are kind of wonky and tend to want to move to the side. I only had a couple of pieces that needed to trim off excess plastic from the moulding process but I did it with my finger. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sturdiness: *REGARDLESS* of the configuration I would highly advise screwing the shelf to the sides of your cabinet with the supplied screws. Even if you are placing one Spicy Shelf in a cabinet and it is flush on all 3 sides the legs wobble a bit and the wider the shelf is extended to fit the cabinet the more the wobble. The wobble isn’t horrible, but since the legs aren’t real tight you could dislodge a leg or two if you bumped the shelf reaching underneath especially if you have the shelves stacked. If you were using these for the small plastic spice containers or boxes of tea using screws might be overkill. So the few minutes it takes to drive the screws is worth it especially for glass spice jars. Now, you aren’t going to be able to drive the screws with an electric drill/driver even with a bit extender…it’s just too tight of a space. You will need to put the shelf in place, mark the holes, remove the shelf, partially drive the screws in, reinstall the shelf, and then tighten the screws by hand. The screws aren't terribly self-tapping so pre-drilling is advised. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Assembly: Very easy. The side legs are universal so you don’t have to mess with “put part A into slot B”. The spacers are easy to snap in and out. Good instructions. And if you get stuck just go to their website. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Capacity: I’m not sure these shelves have the rated capacity. And capacity is going to vary depending on the size of your cabinet, how you configure the shelves, and what you are putting on them. Spice containers, or any container for that matter, vary in size and shape. I managed 46 jars of various sizes between 4 shelves…18 less than the 64 the manufacture says that just 2 shelves will hold. Overall I’m quite happy with the result. A big improvement over what I had. I would highly recommend Spicy Shelf. Enjoy!

Perfect if had better height adjustment
ORIGINALLY: 4.5 stars UPDATE AFTER LIVING WITH IT FOR A YEAR: 4.9 stars (Life changing! :-) ) Width adjustment, excellent. Engineering and materials and quality, surprisingly excellent. If it had a set of 1/4", 1/2" and 1" height extenders it would be perfect. By grouping such extenders that would allow for height adjustment within 0.25" between 0 and 1.75". But there are just the two height choices. So as it is, I find I need to manufacture something to get the height I need --- the 2 height choices provided are not enough. I read about the idea of leaving off the cross braces to make it slightly shorter, though flimsier. This is a good idea though it didn't work for the height I needed. I ended up buying the following adhesive rubber pads and cutting them in half width-wise with a utility knife before placing some under the rubber feet strips (the height worked perfectly for my needs as it allowed for most of my spice bottles to fit in the lower section): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PHZZ436/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (no affiliation with the seller for those and I expect you could find similar products elsewhere)

Needs a Engineering Relook
Watched the videos and read the reviews before purchasing. Was I disappointed! Assemble went as expected and all parts snapped together, that’s the cause of my issues. Buyer beware, you will forfeit cabinet space utilizing this organizer, unless you have half shelf capability. Most will need the tall setup because the short setup will not accommodate the normal size spice bottles. If you desire the third level to accommodate normal size spice bottle you will lose additional shelf capacity; unless you have the half shelf ability I mentioned. Once installed you can read the spice bottle labels on the 2 upper levels. I used the bottom of the set up for the tall bottle but it is crowded, so visibility is not great (my fault as I have too many tall bottles). It would be ok if you only have “one” row”. Now, for my issue. The unit is unstable unless you use the provided hardware to securely fasten the unit to the cabinet; who wants screw holes in your expensive cabinets! There is no other way to ensure a stable installation without fastening it down. With use over time this type of fastening points will most likely become even more wobbly. I would not purchase again and definitely would not recommend to a friend.

Effective And Efficient!
I had never heard of the Spicey Shelf (even though the packaging shows 'as seen on TV'). It came up in my suggestions, I looked at the design, read the reviews and I was sold! It was easy to assemble, just measure your cupboard space, remove your shelf,, add or subtract the spacers for your cupboard, assemble for width, or shorten and stack them for extra storage! The nice thing is, this takes advantage of space normally lost to height. And anything larger that doesn't fit on the shelves (like olive oil bottles, sauce bottles or balsamic vinegar bottles) they sit perfectly in the center of the shelves! The rubber feet on the legs help prevent the shelves from shifting, and the shelf tops have a rubber mat to prevent the spices from slipping around. I love them, and would definitely buy again!

Very simple to build and install and place in any kitchen cabinet or pantry with a solid shelf.
Much thought went into designing this helpful rack. It totally opened up my cabinet making it so much easier to get what I need while cooking. The spacers and sliding feature makes it so easy to fit to ANY cabinet space. As you see, i’ve placed it in a single cabinet and used the stacking method affording me the open space on the bottom for misc items that aren’t in a standard spice jar. It’s sturdy, has non-slip surface on the shelf tops and rubber feet on the stand off posts. Overall for a snap together rack this thing is a fantastic way to organize your spices or whatever, quickly and easily. Definitely worth the money!

Love to hate, hate to love?
Assembly was ridiculous using the directions! There are several ways to assemble, which is nice, but only if your brain works in that kind of way. I ended up watching a YouTube video. Once I knew what I was doing, it wasn’t too bad. It was just frustrating getting to that point. Even using the tallest legs, I had jars that wouldn’t fit on the shelves. It’s not 100% sturdy, but it’s a few inches shy of reaching to the width of my cabinet. If it was flush to the cabinet walls, it may be better. I have a lot of the square spice jars, and they aren’t as easy to see when lined all the way around. I also knock others down when trying to get what I need. Overall, for the price, it did make my spice cabinet more organized and easier to use.
