Brilliant
I bought a lampshade from ikea but the hole in the middle was too big for the fitting. This did the job brilliantly and made the hole smaller. Really easy to fit. Great price. Blends in really well.

I got a brand new lampshade which is beautiful but I hadn’t realised the opening was much to big for my standard light fittings so didn’t work. I was so disappointed then after some searching I discovered you can get these reducer rings which resolve this issue. To be honest, I was a bit dubious it would work it sounded so simple and at £1.60 so cheap but I thought why not give it a go for that price. It is a two pack, both sides are white and it fitted the opening perfectly, so up the ladder I went to try it. Admittedly I was still doubtful but you know what, I’m so glad to have been proven wrong. My lampshade was safely installed and it held well, you can’t even notice the reducer ring. I love it, my only issue, I now need to find a prettier bulb to compliment it properly.
