SanDisk 8GB Memory Stick Micro (M2) Memory Card

I bought this for mine or my wife's phone, I can't remember. Anyways, it was affordable, it works, and it gives you a lot of memory. Just assess what your needs are, if you want to store lots of applications/ music on your phone then get yourself a lot of memory, otherwise, you can spend less and get less memory. I have used SanDisk memory cards for awhile, they have always worked well so I continue to buy their products. In general, I think it doesn't matter all that much which company you choose to buy memory cards from; it's like buying bottled water, they are all the same, so whatever gives you piece of mind, stick with that one.

I just bought this to go with my Sony Ericcson 580i. I put a couple gigs of mp3s on without a hitch. One thing I'd like to point out: I think that any speed issues that people are seeing are more a function of the device, not the card. I bought a cheap card reader/pen drive adapter to go with it, and I was able to move files over quite a bit faster than when I used the USB cable that came with my phone (though it still probably wasn't as fast as it could have been). Plus, I can leave my extra 1GB card in the reader and just use it as a pen drive. If you're going to be doing a lot of transfers to the card, I can't recommend one of those enough. The BlueProton one is cheap and functional, but there are some others out there, too.

This is incredible, 8 gigs of space and smaller then the last postage stamp I bought. This has to be one of the better items you can buy for storage. I have a Sony Ericsson Walkman phone and it came with only 256megs of storage and now I have upgraded it to a whopping 8 gigs. It is not listed on the phone as compatible but works perfectly. I can store so many songs and pictures on my phone now that I can't even listen to them all now. If you are looking for storage space this is a great product.

The micro M2 card is great for the W580i but the larger adapter is pretty much useless, since most computers can't read M2, maybe Sony type can but I use a compaq, dell, and HP and they all do not read that type of card, I would have to get a USB adapter designed specifically for this type. A memory stick pro adapter for the Micro M2 would be better preferred since it is a more common type of card that most including my computers can read.

I ordered this product from amazon.com and it arrived within a week. it was exactly what I ordered, it fit properly in my phone and works perfectly. What's more is that locally, Best Buy offered a 4GB chip for about $59.99 and this 8GB chip was purchased from Amazon.com for $37. I would recommend ordering from Amazon.com. We also ordered bluetooth stereo headphones(Motorola S805), which are great.Thanks Amazon.com!

This is for memory card only NOT the adapter that is supposed to make it M2 compatible as well as make it able to be plugged in a card reader for computer. The card works fine but I was expecting an extra adapted to come with it so I could transfer files from computer to card and vice versa without having card plugged in my device (PSP) Description needs to be changed and price probably needs to be adjusted considering this is only memory card and you have to pay extra and wait longer for the adapter that is NOT in this order.

I am using this poduct with my sony ericsson p1i phone eventhough the specifications say the memory is extendable up to 4 GB. It works great. Now I have a phone with a touch screen, wifi, 8 GB an 160 MB of phone memory, quickoffice, 3.2 MP camera, what do I need an iPhone for?

Who needs an iphone when I can get 8gb of memory on my sony ericsson w580i. Works perfectly and can hold 2,000 songs or 27,000 pics. Great deal for only $50! AT&T sells a 2gb version of this card for $70. Save money and get more memory!

Il formato Memory Stick M2 è stato inventato e sviluppato interamente da Sony, e viene venduto ad un prezzo superiore rispetto ai concorrenti. Questa SanDisk non ha nulla da invidiare ad una di pari caratteristiche Sony ed è quindi preferibile. Confermo la compatibilità con le Sony PSP (dopo una formattazione dal menu della console). Velocità non eccelsa se paragonata ad altri formati (è inferiore ai 10MB/s sia in lettura che in scrittura).
