Sea to Summit Ultra-Sil Dry Sack, Ultralight Dry Bag

Ok well shipping was fast of course. I purchased the 13L for my section hike of the AT. Wanted something that will hold all my clothes other than what I will be wearing and the size I believe is perfect. Puffy jacket, change of underwear, Socks, another outfit, base layer and anything extra that will need to stay dry. I filled it and ran it under the sink for a few mins and everything was dry so I don’t have any doubts what u put in will stay dry so that concern is no longer. I wouldn’t submerge it but under normal use it should be fine. I also sprayed the seams inside and out with waterproofing for just an extra layer of protection, which it probably didn’t need it. As for the build quality, it’s perfect. Typical Sea to Summit, good quality. It seems thin and it is but it also seems that for what I’m intending to do with it it should last many seasons unless I snag it on something. Not to fear it is of good quality. Buckles are nicely made and fit together very good and can be replaced if in time that becomes necessary. This bag weighs next to nothing so for Ultra lighters it’s great. My suggestion is that if u wanna use it for clothing to stay dry for hiking it’s perfect. If u wanna use it for a food bag, I would recommend using Dyneema instead. Unless u are not worried about animals and such. This dry bag will not hold up to mice, critters, bears etc. But to keep the contents dry this bag is a no brainer. Dry, light weight and build quality it’s the one to get. Just pick the size u need. Hope this helps. I’m happy with mine and u will be too, just use it for what it is intended for. As long as u don’t submerge it it will be completely water repellent I’ve tested it.

Use this to store my rain coat to store on my bike and it works great. Supper light and packs up real small if you are not using it. Kept my coat completely airtight. The material seems a little lite so it might not be good for anything rugged but I have not tested that out yet so that may not be an issue. If you need a light dry bag then you cannot go wrong for the price.

Love this product. I bought an 8L for backpacking because my 8L big river was a bit bulky and heavier than I wanted. This ultralight dry bag is a great fit, holds all my emergency gear I want to keep dry. Durable and lightweight, great job sea to summit

These bags are the best. Perfect for transporting flip-flops and wet clothes from the gym. 100% watertight, light, and incredibly easy - when full - to roll down small, forcing air out. I also use one as a travel laundry bag, so I don't get my clean clothes all yucked-up by my dirty ones. Highly recommended!

Great quality, light weight

My son is a huge Bear Grylls fan and is amassing his own survivalist arsenal of supplies. He wanted a waterproof bag to hold his cache. I saw the mixed reviews but this was in his price point so I ordered it any way. At first opening, he was super disappointed. It looked like nothing in its tiny package. We were about to send it back but I said, let’s just try it out. Also, the package, says “do not submerge”, he was disappointed that a waterproof bag would not be good for being in the water. Still we tried it out. Yes, it’s extremely thin but it seems pretty strong. He has placed all his little kit in it and tested it in the tub. So far, so good.

Used 3 of these for our personal gear on a 9 day, 101 mile canoe trek through the Boundary Waters. These worked great and kept our clothes and sleeping bags dry even though the bags they were in got wet every day sitting in the canoes as we paddled and got in and out of the canoes as we made an average of 6 portages a day. Highly recommend these bags if you plan to use them in another bag. This material is very thin and not likely to stand up to the abuse the thicker dry bags are made of.

I have a number of dry bags because I do not want wet gear ruining a backpacking trip. But I bought this sea to summit bag because it was the right size for my down sleeping bag. I really like it and will look more closely at other gear by this manufacturer in the future. It seems to be lighters weight and of higher quality than my other dry bags.

Echt gute Packsäcke mit austauschbaren Verschluss

Der Drypack kam sehr schnell und war gut verpackt. Vom ersten Eindruck war er top, Sea to Summit Qualität eben. Ich habe lange überlegt wie groß mein Drypack sein muss für ein Satz Wechselkleidung. Ideal hierfür sind: 4L. Ich habe ein T-Shirt, 2 Paar Socken, zwei Unterhosen und ein Satz Thermo-Unterbekleidung darin. Platz für ein weiteres T-Shirt oder ähnliches wäre auch noch möglich. Ein nettes Feature ist, das man ihn noch sehr gut komprimieren kann und somit nochmal einiges an Platz spart. So ist der Rucksack sehr übersichtlich und alles ist griffbereit. Fazit: - Sehr gute Qualität - Wasserdicht - lässt sich gut komprimieren Ich habe mittlerweile schon drei Stück in verschiedenen Größen gekauft und bin sehr zufrieden. Jederzeit wieder.
