The Do Be Buttoning
The do button like a button should. Easy to install and solder, nice and clicky, and just work, can't ask for much more from a simple button.

Excellent solution to custom joystick builds or upgrades of existing controller hardware
Pretty good buttons for custom joystick projects! I've bought two sets of these and already used ALL the buttons from my first buy. Compared to other smaller (10mm) and equivalent (other-brand 12mm) momentary switches, these are pretty good and more economical that most other button batches. I've used 4 to create a replacement "turbo panel" for an old Hori RAP (RAP 1) that didn't have a turbo panel in the first place. I assigned buttons with Turbo, Touchpad, L3, and R3 functions. These buttons were recommended by someone else who designed a replacement chasis to place over the turbo PCB mounting on my HRAP 1 case. (I had to get a replacement faceplate since the RAP 1 does NOT have either a turbo panel cutout or the button layout that I care for -- in this case, Sega-style Astrocade!)I've seen used 2 other 12mm buttons from the first purchase to install Touchpad/Menu buttons on two Mad Catz TE Rd 1 joysticks that already had Brook board replacements for the original non-compliant MC PCBs. One of those Mad Catz PCBs was permanently damaged by static shock and had to be replaced to make the joystick controller functional again!IF you install these 12mm momentary buttons be aware you'll be drilling AND using metal files to open holes to fit buttons through! In my case, the only sensible area to drill on the Mad Catz TE Rd 1 joystick casing was the front sloping panel. The 12mm buttons fit comfortably after I did filing post-drilling but I still had to grind on the case's inside with a Dremel sanding barrel to open a channel in the internal case plastic to allow the elastic band and button hex nut to fit through! You'll also need to solder signal wiring to the terminals of these buttons prior to doing the final install on the joystick base. These buttons are TOO SMALL for any quick disconnects I'm aware of on the the market so soldering and heatshrink over their terminals is the most viable solution. These buttons will last at least 10,000 pushes so they'll be around for years!

Makes an excellent kill switch for electric guitar
These make excellent kill switches for electric guitar. You simply drill a 1/2 inch hole to mount the switch (put painters tape on the area where you’re going to drill to minimize chipping the finish) be careful not to hit any wires or components inside when you drill. Solder two wires to the terminals on the switch then solder them to the positive and ground terminals of your output jack. This will create a short to ground when you push the button of the switch. This setup is best because if the switch eventually gets dirty or wears out, you will still be able to play your guitar. See my video for a sound example.

Really nice look and feel
These look great and feel great and work perfectly. Just don't lose the jamb nut that comes with it. The body threading is indeed M12, but the pitch is only 0.75 mm (at least on the ones I received), which is much finer than most M12 hardware you might find.

Look great, nice tactile switch action.
Look great, nice tactile switch action. Hopefully they won’t rust on the console of my boat. Ask me in a year.

Nice switches, solid build
I only need one but 6 for a very decent price for a very beautiful full metal switch. Best of all, it arrived the next day.
