Bellissima Diffon DF1 1000 Hot Air Diffuser for Curly Hair, 11809

I bought this for my partners mother for Christmas who has very curly hair but finds her normal hairdryer heavy to hold she loves this it is lightweight and she said she could see a difference so I have bought one for myself, as someone who has used dryers and straightener's for years and has hair with a natural wave I thought it was time to give the damage a rest! I love it, its lightweight quiet and easy to use and I get a great frizz free curl. Recently I have been using mousse and part drying with normal hair dryer but this is a game changer, i have purchased a curl revival cream and just a little of that and a quick dry with the diffuser and I get frizz free curls all day without the stickiness of the mouse and my hair looks dry and curly as apposed to having that wet look all day. I have had lots of comments as it looks so different than my normal straightened locks which go frizzy in the winter weather or whenever there is moisture in the air. Just love it great buy

I've taken a while before reviewing just in case it was a fluke but I can honestly say this is the perfect answer for my curly hair. I always use the low setting and it doesn't move my hair around at all. The best thing about it is the size and weight which make it so easy to use. I never use the main part of a hairdryer so to find completely by chance a standalone hair diffuser has been a game changer, especially as it works so well and will save loads of space in a suitcase.

I have had this a few months now and I haven’t reached for my other hairdryer once. It’s easy to hold and is super easy compared with my traditional diffuser. It does a really good job of drying my hair. I do have fine hair but it tends to hold a lot of water. It is definitely quicker then my traditional diffuser. The only slight minus is that the 2nd speed/heat, I don’t use because it’s too hot for me. I wish it was slightly cooler or the speed and heat was individual settings. Overall I would recommend it though.

This is great for control which I have never had with diffusers. It's lightweight, & really easy to hold I have air-dried my curls since 2012 having totally given up on hairdryers-even my tiny travel dryer was too difficult to control.. I then saw this - and can now happily diffuse with no frizz. No frizz tip: Use hair gel, root to tip, wait for the cast to form & only then diffuse. The gel cast protects your curls from the dryer. Once fully dry, scrunch out the crunch & gently fluff the roots. Edited. Ok, the above didn't consistently work, especially in summer UK humid heat. . But.. . I found another trick. After using gel styler, because that cast you get helps hold curls. Spray wet, styled hair with anti-humidity hair spray. This made so much difference to that frizz halo for my hair. I love this hair dryer. I can dry my fringe with it as well as diffuse. It is the cheaper of the range but still really good!

I absolutely love this hairdryer. I checked the reviews first and decided to give it a go. Yes the higher heat is hot but I just use this to start with to take some of the water out of the ends of the hair and the lower heat for the rest. It's so easy to use being so light weight, it takes a while to dry but if that's what it takes to achieve these amazing curls then it's worth getting out of bed earlier to wash your hair!
