Success finally!
My bathroom peeled twice before using this product even though I sanded. I think the previous owners did not get all of the old wall paper down and just painted over it. I sanded again and used Peel Stop. It has been about 3 months and still no peeling. Happy so far!

Great primer
This product works! I used some sandpaper and then two coats of this primer in an old, painted toy box. I waited a few days and added a topcoat. The next layer of paint adhered perfectly. No peeling!

Awesome product for peeling and cracked paint!
This stuff isn't as good as scraping off peeling paint, but it's the next best thing for not having to scrape peeling paint off and helping the peeling paint to adhear to the surface again and filling in the areas where the has flaked off or where the paint has cracks in it! I'd def recommend it! It's thinner than I expected with "triple thick" in the name. But after applying multiple coats I was happy w the results! If the paint flakes off just touching it, if recommend lightly scraping the loose paint B4 attempting to paint over it. It'll come off and get in your brush or end up in the primer and effect the end results. I used it on the front door and surrounding trim at my mom's house. It had been neglected and it would've taken 10 x's longer to scrape the peeling paint off. I will update if it starts to peel or crack. So far I'm very happy with the results!

Excellent Primer for Damaged Surfaces
This primer did a great job sealing and stabilizing peeling paint before repainting. It goes on smoothly, builds well, and created a solid surface for the topcoat. Great product for restoring older walls and trim.

The worst primer ever.
The absolute worst primer I’ve ever used. It looks thick coming out of the can but goes on so thin you can barely tell you’ve primed. Don’t waste your time, buy another brand.

My kind of cover-up.
My ceiling showed some water stains. Covered the stains and matched the color perfectly. Looks new. Get some.

Not impressed.
I don't know who thinks this stuff is "triple thick". Perhaps it's a trifle goopy but nothing special. I mixed well, yet it took two coats to get anything I'd call a proper prime coating. I got the job done and it's acceptable but no better. I would not buy this product again.

Great bonding primer
My house is 124 years old and my front door has layers of chipped paint that even sanding & stripping would not remove. Since it needed a lot of repair work with wood putty & sanding to even it out to a smooth finish, I was afraid of the putty chipping off. I applied a layer of this primer, before and after using the wood putty and then added 2 coats of paint and the door looks brand new. It’s not a solid white color, but more of a milky white so it will not replace a coat of paint but will help to bind the paint for a smoother finish. It does fill in small imperfections but the primer alone will not fill deep uneven places. This primer dries really fast & works much better than just a paint that has primer included, especially for filling in small imperfections. My door would’ve looked great with just one coat of paint after using this primer, but I did 2 coats because my door gets a lot of sun.

I recommend this Zinsser sealer.
I found this product to be amazing. After trying twice to sand and seal a peeling bathroom ceiling (with other sealers) only to have it fail both times, I ordered this product and it has worked. I once again scraped/sanded the whole ceiling and gave it two coats of this Zinsser product and painted with ceiling paint. If this hadn't worked, I was going to replace the actual ceiling plaster board. I understand other reviewers concerns regarding the colour but this is only a sealer - not a paint. It is a very watery white colour and you will need to paint with your final paint colour. I cannot praise this product enough.
