Does a 4.5-pound rabbit have enough space？

I think so. My one-year-old two lion head rabbits can stay inside together.

Can they be put outside

They're a grass type hut, so I guess it depends on your climate. I wouldn't let them get wet, because they would get moldy. If it's super hot, the hut will get really dry. My bunny goes in it and chews it up. He loves it! I find that the floor seems to go first.

Are the grasses used pesticide/herbicide free?

I don’t know the answer, but our rabbit ate it, till it was gone

Best rabbit purchase I have ever made

If you have a rabbit who won’t eat hay, this is the PERFECT thing for you. My bunnies (Milo + Saskia) love this house!! It’s easy to put together, really sturdy, and the hay is nicely dried. The only downside is that it’s pretty flaky! You’ll get hay splinters all over the place
