Everdell Glimmergold Upgrade Pack

I wasn't sure about this expansion. It seemed pretty expensive for what you actually get.. but my boyfriend's brother convinced me we needed to start with this one. While it is spendy for what you get, I'm glad I caved and got it before any of the other expansion. It adds some fun new mechanics to the game without changing it too much. I love the addition of new cards and the metal coins. For the price, I wish it also came with some new forest locations, special events and providing baskets would be nice. I ended up ordering some off etsy and it's made it so much better. All in all, I would recommend this addition. This game is so addictive.

If you love Everdell but originally purchased the retail version, the Glimmergold Upgrade Pack is an absolute must-have. While the gameplay remains the same, the tactile experience of these components is night and day compared to the standard cardboard. The Highlights: The Metal Tokens: These are the star of the show. They have a satisfying weight and clink that makes collecting points feel much more rewarding than the original cardboard chips. Wooden Occupied Tokens: These make the board state much easier to read at a glance, and the little door stickers are a charming thematic touch. The Cards: Adding the Extra! Extra! and Legendary cards provides just the right amount of variety and "power" to the deck without making the game feel bloated. It adds a fresh layer of strategy for seasoned players. Premium Quality: From the upgraded 8-sided die to the card stock, everything feels high-end. This pack successfully turns a beautiful game into a truly "deluxe" masterpiece on your table. It is easily the best investment you can make for your Everdell collection. Highly recommended!

Absolutely entranced with these upgrade components. The coins are bright and have some real weight to them. The cards, as always, have some wonderful artwork to them that helps to paint a picture in your mind of this fantasy world. The rat meeples are just cute and the new deluxe D8 dice is chunky for satisfying throws for Rugwort. Finally, the occupied tokens are made of sturdy wood. The only complaint I have is that the wooden tokens need to have stickers placed on them, but that's just a small thing to me. Overall, this a nice upgrade pack for folks like me that missed out on the collectors edition of Everdell.

Loved the metal coins/Victory pts only wish there were more because someone in our group makes it their mission to earn as many as possible! Good value and loved the extras included for everdell!

Great add on if you didn't get the second edition like I did. Now I'm on to play solo games as well.

If you love Everdell and only have the base game, this is a wonderful edition to it. It has enhanced the play.

If you like Everdell already, you won't regret getting this pack! The metal coins alone was enough to make me giddy.

Ich war auf der Suche nach der englischen Version von Glimmergold und hatte mich sehr gefreut, diese hier gefunden zu haben. Leider habe ich die Rezensionen nicht gelesen, denn auch ich habe statt der englischen die deutsche Variante erhalten, die nicht zum Spiel passt. Abgesehen von der Sprache ist das Upgrade Pack inhaltlich super. Jetzt ist die Everdellsammlung komplett.

Habe mir vor dem bestellen die Rezensionen durchgelesen.Scheinbar bekommen die Leute, die die englische Version wollten die Deutsche. In der Produktbeschreibung steht, dass es deutsch ist. Ich also bestellt und was kriege ich? Die englische Version, meine Fresse….
