This is a great, lightweight, adjustable tool. I can clean baseboards, trim, pictures and hard to reach places! A game changer!

First off, yes, this thing works as promised. With minimal effort, it got my really nasty baseboards (two dogs, three cats, years of neglect--and white paint to boot) very clean, with fairly minimal effort. But, there are at least three major problems with this, all of which could easily have been made right, that keep it from being what it should have been: 1) The handle WILL NOT stay tightly screwed in no matter what you do. I'll likely resort to using tape to keep mine tight, but that's pretty lame, don't you agree? 2) The pads are very absorbent, but no matter how hard you try, you cannot wring them out. The result is a mess beneath the baseboards you are cleaning, and worse, a drippy mess back to your sink or bucket afterwards. 3) The head is fixed in place, and it should have been made to pivot. I assumed it would pivot initially, and fortunately, I didn't try too hard to make it move, or I may have broken it. Nope, it's molded plastic and fixed in place, so you have to contort your arms and hands into weird angles to make up for this. For what this cost, especially, these things should have been addressed. But at the end of the day, I'm admiring my shiny baseboards and relatively satisfied, regardless.

This Baseboard buddy makes cleaning your baseboards easy without breaking your back! Works as intended and seems to be sturdy. Assembly is super easy anf very light weight! The size is compact anf can fit in any small area or closet. Highly recommend if you like keeping clean baseboards, and cleaning them quick!

This does help me clean the baseboards without having to bend or squad down, I wish the pole is more sturdy. When I put any pressure down to clean the pole will bow a little bit, makes me worry about it breaking… The head piece also keeps unscrewing itself, I’m going to try using some thread seal tape to see if it helps. The head piece also kept on turning too easily and I can’t tighten it any more to make it turn less, and when it turns it will slide off the baseboard then I would have to readjust it before continuing cleaning. Not sure if that’s part of the design or a defective product… Overall, it is a very good tool to save your back, but maybe it’s more compatible if you are only doing quick light dust cleaning.

This works well for the straight portion of a baseboard but it does not clean the corners where dirt can really accumulate. To do that, I will have to get down on the floor. Pros: easy to assemble, comes with multiple reusable pads, can wet pads with own cleaning solution, the cleaning pads are held securely in place by Velcro, head rotates and locks in position, the wand is long enough. Cons: cannot clean corners, head can be difficult to manipulate to the position you want, removing the cleaning pad from the Velcro can be a bit of a battle. Overall, this will save time in cleaning the baseboards. I will definitely be using it, just wish it could clean the corners as well.

Back saver! It has a 360 swivel so it gets all the angles and great for reaching behind furniture. Love that it’s rewash-able! Easy to assemble, light weight.

Could this tool possibly be more cheaply made? I don't think so. I put it together and used it just now to clean some baseboards and door moldings that my little dogs rub against as they go outside. These areas get filthy. I noticed right off the bat that the extendable handle is actually 4 sections of tubing that you put together with click fittings. If you are using it with 2 sections and you want to make it longer, you have to remove one section, fit on another section, then put back the section you removed. A telescoping handle would be so much easier to use, and couldn't add that much to the cost. Another area that could be better is where the handle screws onto the head. It's a soft plastic and it's not going to hold up. The handle itself is lightweight aluminum tubing - fine for a tool like this. It wouldn't be expensive to make the screw fitting out of aluminum too, and would increase the durability of the tool greatly. And lastly, the little screw fitting that loosens to allow adjusting the angle of the head and tightens to lock it in place . . . well, that's soft plastic too. Actually, I'm surprised it held up thru an entire 10-minute use of the tool. OK, enough trash talk. Once assembled, I hit it with some spray cleaner and cleaned my filthy baseboards and door moldings, and I was very happy with how easy it was and how clean my moldings were. So much dirt came off I had to rinse the pad halfway thru, and plain hot water rinsed it clean. I like how soft and absorbent the pads are. They hold a lot of dirt and don't scratch the paintwork. Make this tool with all aluminum, and give it a telescoping handle, and you could DOUBLE the price! People would love it. I sure would. Overall, I like this tool but I doubt if it will hold up very long.

Love this mop. No more bending over to clean the baseboards or drag a chair around to clean the top of the doors.Comes with 2 removable cloths which are easy to clean, really good velour stick on, can use the pads either dry or wet. Wipes all the dust off what more could u have on your baseboards! Some of the reviews say won’t scrub clean, it’s a mop of course it won’t, if u have scuff marks or stains then of course it won’t come off with a mop, u need to scrub with a magic eraser and some elbow grease.

This gizmo does save one from bending to clean the baseboards. I do have a complaint though. The cleaning pad is really difficult to remove from the unit as the Velcro is incredibly strong which makes it difficult for arthritic hands. Secondly, even though I squeezed the water out of the pad before attaching it to the pole, I found that, when applying pressure to the baseboards to clean them, water dripped out of the pad necessitating having to get down to wipe up the wet. The cleaning pad is made out of some unusual fabric and it does not want to hold the water you put on it.

This was perfect for all baseboards in my home, but what I love most is that it makes it so easy to clean behind tv stands, heavy furniture and headboards of beds without having to struggle to move furniture! Also makes the job a lot quicker
