what is the color -- is it red or clear?

It's a clear gel, not a mist. I was told it left an invisible UV stain on the attacker. I've only used it once on an off leash pit bull and it stopped the dog like it hit a brick wall.

Can it be assumed this doesn't have the SABRE "Crossfire" technology where the angle of the bottle doesn't affect the stream?
