Loved the anime so much I needed to get myself a copy. Would recommend this as a gift to someone who enjoys it.

I imagine that if you're thinking about getting this it's because you've already seen the series and have liked it enough to get it physically. So rather than this being a review of the show this is going to be a review of the case and extras. If you had already bought the season in there individual parts then I would say don't waste your money on this, all this collection does is combine both parts into one case. It comes with the exact same special and bonus features so you don't get anything extra. If this is your first time buying the the season then this is a must get. It comes in a standard size Blu-ray case that holds four discs and has a cardboard sleeve. The artwork, as usual when it comes to Attack on Titan Blu-rays, is excellent and will look good on a shelf. There is a whole host of extras on these discs. They give you audio commentaries on episodes 40, 47, 55 and 59 from the English voice cast, and a video commentary, also from the English cast, for episode 54. The Japanese director gives a breakdown for episode 46, and there are interviews with both the English and Japanese cast. There is also the Chibi Theater, which is a series of very short, comedic takes on the episodes of season 3, the Eyecatch gallery, which (if you can guess) is a gallery of images for the show, textless openings and closing and more. In short, this be very good.
