It works!
I made a little 'pond' out of a planter. It has rocks in it that I've collected over many years. The water spits out a cement frogs mouth via a copper tube. After a couple months , I noticed it getting pretty green (I hadn't thought of algae). I put an ounce of 'Sanco Bird Bath and Fountain Maintenance' in and came back after a half hour or so - WOW! Frog is spitting clear water! Rocks aren't covered in algae. Curious to see how often it needs to be done.

Bird Bath & Fountain Maintenance - (8 Ounces) - Fast-Acting Enzyme-Based Formula
This is my second time (second year) ordering this product. I get it because it's supposed to be better for the birds rather than using regular soap or cleaners. I'm not sure if it really works. How can you tell? It can take a lot of scrubbing and you're tempted to just get some dish soap... It is clear and looks like water. I add it to a dishpan of warm water when I clean the birdbaths. I guess it works fairly well.

Helps water to stay fresh longer
It’s safe and easy to use. Less is more. Safe for birds, bees and butterflies. Dilute properly. Does NOT stop algae but will keep your water cleaner longer.

This is a fantastic product !!! My bird bath is sparking clean !!! I can not believe how well it cuts through the grime and junk that builds up quickly ! I will definitely be a repeat customer !

Helps Keep Water Clear
I have just started using this but it seems to be helping keep the water in my water fountains clear. It does not have any odor to it and is easy to use.

Expensive and ineffective
I installed a birdbath this year and it's become very popular, but the water quickly turned green, so I thought I'd give this a go. I followed the instructions, and I think it reduced the algae growth a little, but it didn't last long and was not effective enough to consider repurchasing. I shall constitute regularly replacing the water and scrubbing the birdbath to keep on top of the algal growth so our feathered friends can continue enjoying their spa.
