These are game changers for garage scissors, assembly/manufacturing, etc. They can cut anything just about, cleanly and smoothly. I have big hands and these fit them perfectly. Made in Japan.

I was kind of sceptical when I purchased these; however, they are strong and have done everything that I have asked in cutting. The handles take a little getting used to, but they are not uncomfortable to use. Just because it is different than what most scissors are like, doesn't make it wrong. I have used it to cut copper sheets and for other, more difficult tasks that normal scissors wouldn't handle. I had some books of checks for an account I no longer have, and I was able to split the books and issue 15 checks at a time. My wife likes them for cutting flower stems to put into vases with water. Great value for a tool that works with ease, even in my arthritic hands.

These scissors are very comfortable and sharp. I am using them as utility shears for cutting plastic and cardboard. They still cut paper very cleanly.

These things cut Kevlar webbing and poly straps like butter. I work in an industry that uses Kevlar webbing and when we need to disassemble something it needs to be decommissioned and Kevlar is havoc on blades. Even if something cuts it at forst ut usually pulls super fast. These have held up way longer than the fiskars and others that they have since replaced.

I am trying to think of a negative for these scissors ...and I usually excel at finding flaws. The only thing I can think of is so minor that I will not deduce a star rating: I noticed the cover snaps on easier one way versus the other, so I marked with a sharpie to align with the side that has the larger rivet head. I suppose if I installed it the other way 100 times it would wear-in and fit the same on both sides. Still 5 star review.

This pair of scissors is so study and well-forged that you don't really need pruning shears or an electrician knife.

These scissors are a beast. They cut through tough materials like butter, and the build quality is typical Japanese excellence. The integral finger guard is a great safety feature, and they feel very ergonomic in the hand. Highly recommended for any professional or DIYer!
