I’ve tried various box dyes for deep black shades, but the Feria 10 Blackest Black is consistently one of my favorites for achieving a multi-dimensional look rather than an "ink-blot" flat color. The consistency of the dye is great—it’s thick enough to not drip everywhere but spreads easily through thick hair. One box was sufficient for my shoulder-length hair, but if yours is longer or very thick, I’d definitely recommend grabbing two. This truly is a deep, jet black. What I appreciate most is the "shimmer" factor Feria is known for. It catches the light beautifully and looks very healthy immediately after dyeing. The included multi-faceted shimmer enhancer conditioner is the highlight of the kit. It leaves my hair feeling incredibly soft and manages the typical post-dye dryness very well. Like most permanent dyes, it does have a strong chemical scent during the process, so make sure you’re in a well-ventilated room. I’ve found that this shade resists fading into that "muddy brown" look longer than other brands, especially if you use sulfate-free shampoo. It definitely can stain your hands and face and ears so if you use petroleum jelly, you can avoid that mess. This is my hair about 4 weeks after dyeing it.

One of my favorite dedicated curly hair bleach kits! So here are a few points and my recommendations! ☺️ 1. Great lift! I was able to lighten my hair to a level 8-9, which is perfect for bright and pastel colors. 2. Minimal damage! I've added a few pics, but honestly, my curl pattern is barely different before and after bleaching! (This is partly due to my hair care routine, which includes a lot of moisture, so make sure you have that ready to maintain your hair after bleaching!) 3. There is a chemical smell. You will smell this stuff, and my best suggestion is to use it in a well-ventilated area! 4. Do a test strand! If you are allergic, this is a must! It will also be helpful to see how it will lighten your hair! My go-to method is to use a small section that can easily be tucked away and apply the product to your hair. Next, set a timer for 10 minutes. Check once the timer goes off and assess if you like the lift! From here, set a timer for 5 minutes and check if you have achieved the desired lift! (DON'T EXCEED THE TIME IN THE PRODUCT INSTRUCTIONS!) This will give you a guide for how long you should bleach your hair, so keep the timing in mind when you bleach the rest of your hair! 5. This product works really fast, so be ready to move quickly! It all depends on the hair because my little sister took far less time to lift than I did. In other words, the test strand is very important! 6. Hair care! If you have curly hair and want your curls to look a lot like your pre-lightened hair, my biggest recommendation is to use good-quality curly hair care products! Investing in good-quality hair care products will make a difference in how your hair looks after bleaching it. There is no way to avoid damage after bleaching your hair, but you are definitely able to make your hair look cute and healthy!! Here are a few product recommendations for those of you with curly hair after bleaching your hair: Olaplex No. 3 Get a deep conditioner (Most deep conditioners work pretty well, so I recommend finding one you like!) Make sure you have a leave-in conditioner in your hair care routine (I really like Bumble and Bumble's 3-in-1 Conditioner) Use a heat protector if you are going to blow dry your hair after bleaching! (I personally like to diffuse my curls!) A curl reactivator product could be really helpful! (I like Bubble and Bubble's curl reactivator)

Really happy with how this turned out. I used it on dark brown hair and got a deep, rich fuchsia with a nice shimmer: dark and saturated rather than bright, which I actually loved. Didn't expect it to show up so well on dark hair without bleaching first. The formula applied smoothly, didn't drip, and my hair felt soft afterward. The conditioner included in the box was surprisingly good. The color faded gradually and evenly over time, which I actually appreciated - no patchy roots or weird tones, just a slow and natural fade. Overall a great bold shade that delivers on its promise. Will repurchase.
