Top Three Favorite Dog Books
I happened to find this book in a bookshop window in a really cool downtown I was visiting on my birthday. It looked like a fun read so I bought it and it was INCREDIBLY educational, well written, and life changing. I have used and used this book. I brought out my book tabs that I haven't used since college because there is so much great info in this one book for your dog. If you love dogs, please get this book and read it. Learn and use it. It's been super helpful to even save money on vet trips (for minor ailments) and I do think that it will benefit them in the long term as well. I have recommended this book to everyone I meet that has any interest in dogs at all. I have given out copies as prizes for trivia because I think this book is so beneficial. Invaluable info for dog lovers.
My holistic vet recommend this book to me. I'm actually not even finished with it yet because I keep going back and relistening to parts, but I have learned so much already and it applies not only to my dogs, but to my own and my husband's health! The authors present the information in a way that's easy to understand and retain. I bought this on Audible but ended up also ordering a printed copy because I want to be able to highlight and refer back to some of the info and I know I'll remember more reading it myself. I also bought a printed copy for my dog-loving friend. Amazon didn't have the print copies so I had to find them elsewhere and I paid a lot but this book is worth it!!

As a breeder this book has made an impact on us
When breeding my 2 Yorkies, it always been a priority for me the health of my girls. The stronger and healthier they are the healthier foundation the puppies will have when growing inside and the better and easier my girl will recuperate from the draining process of pregnancy. As a breeder I chose puppy parents who I believe have the requirements to care for and grow one of our puppies. I include this book in our puppies to go home bag, we have Puppy Parents Date that are a most, this to minimize the trauma of leaving Mom, Dad, siblings and us , to go to a new home, in our PPDs not only puppies get familiar with their new family smell, voice and touh but we get the chance to know and talk to their parents about nutrition and healthy for our puppies. I don't talk about the book but I encourage them to look in to finding commercial pet food with the minimal amount of chemicals and closer to what is normal in the animal kingdom or nature. Then in the go home bag I include a book. In their updates some parents proudly will send me videos of their puppies eating food with natural ingredients, which always fills my heart. Thanks guys for making this book is an easy and simple reading and very helpful for breeders like me who cares about our puppies foundations.

The truth shines through amid all the lies
I wanted more information on food nutrition for doggies. I mean the same goes for us, so it's gotta be the same for dogs despite what pet shops and even my vet and their technicians say. Processed food isn't good for you. Straight from nature as much as possible. Canines in the wild didn't go to a pet shop and buy a processed bag of food. The information in this book is so thorough, down to serving sizes and nutrition information. It gives me all the information I need in a well organized way so I just need to put the puzzle pieces together. I still use some high quality kibble to help balance out the nutrition for now. Plus I'm eating healthier again because whatever pup eats I eat.

El mejor referente para mejorar y conservar la buena salud de perros y gatos.
Yo ya conocía el trabajo de la Dra. Becker y como quién siempre ha tenido perros como mascotas miembros de mi familia, puedo decir sin lugar a dudas que los cambios hechos en la dieta de mis 3 perras han sido de gran beneficio al pasar del alimento seco (croquetas) a la dieta natural (no cruda ya q hay q considerar que desafortunadamente en Mexico hay muchos claroscuros en la forma en que manejan los productos cárnicos). El cambio en la dieta se ve reflejado en la salud de las mascotas directamente, mis perras ya son geriátricas (dos de 13 y una de 11) y puedo decir que debido a la alimentación q sugiere entre sus distintas modalidades ha generado un cambio de gran beneficio en mis mascotas, piel sana (2 son alérgicas y me fue muy complicado encontrar un tratamiento que no incluyera corticoides), digestión sin complicaciones, sus chequeos anuales son excelentes (les hago un examen de sangre completo anual y gracias a su esquema de alimentación los resultados son muy buenos). Para mi ha sido de gran ayuda apoyarme con el conocimiento de la Dra. Becker y Rodney Habíb en conjunto logran en este libro. Yo recomiendo ampliamente su contenido.

If you love your dog, buy this book.
It's a wonderful, easy to digest read packed with scientific knowledge. I will never, ever feed my dog or any of my future dogs kibble ever again. I also appreciate all of the information on how us humans can be healthier. too. Also, from an aesthetic point of view, what a beautiful book it is! From the design of the cover to the materials used. It's high quality, inside and out. My dog loves it too as you can see from the photo :)

Love this book!
Great book and great info! I bought this when it came out and I'm currently re-reading it. I plan on making further improvements to my dogs' diet (they're already on raw) and this book has tons of info on how to go about it. This is my go-to for solid info and current data/research. Even if your dog isn't on raw, this book is still relevant.

A must have for dogowners!
I love this book! It takes time to read it, it isn't a book that you will read in one time but more a book you keep going back to, read a bit, search for info etc. I love the explanation and always share the knowledge with friends dogowners.
