Niacin (Vitamin B3) 100mg, 240 Capsules - with Flushing, Non-GMO, Gluten Free

Been using this since 2024 and this is my verdict on this Brand. Easy to swallow with no taste. Side effects are expected, the flush. Dosage of 100mg is a good start but I prefer 200mg is sufficient (I've gone all the way up to 500mg). Great value for the money, especially when compared to pharmaceutical prices.

A smooth Niacin rush but be careful not to take it with carbohydrates!

Good stuff... I like this lower dose so less flush and I can still feel it.

So I have mixed reviews here. While I'm aure that the product itself is quite decent I had a reaction that I now have come to know as "The Niacin Flush". I took a capsule as soon as I got them. I was excited. I had just bought several new supplements and I was eager to try them. Well about 1-1 1/12 hours later I started feeling hot. Ok I need to turn my aor on. A few minutes after that my lips started burning, then my face, and finally my chest and arms are 🔥 burning on fire. I felt as though I was being attacked by fire ants and needles all at the same time and at the rate of the speed of light! I didn't know what was happening. I was waiting for my throat to close. I yell to my husband "something is wrong, I need a doctor stat. My throat never started closing so I calmed down by the slightest bit and began to think " What in the H.E. double hockey sticks is going on? What did i do?" After racking my brain, all the while feeling like I was being microwaved it dawned on me.......could it be the niacin? So I head to my doctor on call...Google...and find out that yes indeed it was the Niacin Flush. Perfectly harmless, so they say. Upon further reading I found that there is a whole slew of folks that LIKE the way it feels. I myself absofrickenlutely am not one of them. So to anyone who is not familiar with this I say..BEWARE.

Love this supplement. Be warned, it does cause a flush. I find it feels good but my husband hates it. After the flush i always feel very energized. The flush causes a red rash all over the body for approximately 30 min to an hour. Lots of tingling and even raised bumps. It looks like an allergic reaction but its not. It's perfectly fine. It will pass fairly quickly and it's actually really good for your body.

50mg use to get my face flushed when I was working out. A couple years later I'm trying the 100mg and it's not having the same effect. It's no the product but probably my body is getting use to it or changing. I may not have enough of whatever it was that is needed in the skin that causes that helps niacin produce the flush. I forget what it was called. But Nutricost seems to be a brand I can trust.

Lo tomaba en las mañanas con el desayuno, no sentía el flush que tanto lo buscaba. Hasta que tome una en la noche mucho después de haber merendado. antes de acostarme y 15.minutos después por fin lo sentí. Me asusté al principio, pensé que me había intoxicado me medi la presion todo normal. Y recordé el flush de la niacina y luego me.relaje me duró una media hora con la dosis de 100mg. Mi cuerpo luego de esto me decía hey aquí estoy no pasó nada. Y definitivamente me gustó la sensación del flush. Lo seguiré tomando sin duda. Es una forma que el cuerpo te responde y te dice, aqui estoy vivo, solo sienteme..

The product worked flawlessly, but be prepared for the flushing. If you ever made fun of your wife for having a hot flash, be prepared to understand her pain. Do not take this on an empty stomach, I did and I thought I was going to start on fire. I’m not sure if taking it with food makes it flush you less. But I’m not going to try it again.
