Of course, there is no way for me to really know the quality of these D3 softgels, since the company is not one of the major brands with a track history. Judging by the ingredients, they are largely equivalent to the major brands. When I ordered them, I had not focused on the fact that they meet the Halal dietary standard; however, I'm guessing that this is why these Shiffa softgels are twice as expensive as the major brands (for instance, you can get on Amazon 240 Nature's Bouty 5000 iu D3 softgels for slightly less than the cost of 120 of the Shiffa brand). If the Halal designation isn't important to you, there are other quality makers of D3 softgels that are more reasonably priced.
