Rescuing Harmony Ranch: A feel-good romance from Hallmark Publishing

I liked the plot and the planning of this major event. Maybe because I do event planning. Liked the fact that the story was filled with love and happiness. No bitterness from past relationship gone bad. Loved the dog, felt like he was such a big part of the family. Will recommend to my sister Sandra who needs to read and relax and take a break from work. I gave the book a 5 star rating because I loved the style, plot, characters and the lack of animosity. I have only recently become a Jennie Marts fan. Rescuing Harmony Ranch is an emotional, clean, second chance romance. Jocelyn and Mack were linked romantically in their teens until her mother took her to New York and made sure Jocelyn cut all ties to Harmony Ranch. She was heartbroken when Mack did not reply to any of her letters. Mack couldn't understand why Jocelyn never replied to any of his many letters. He didn't know a broken heart could hurt so much. Now Jocelyn has returned to help her grandmother, Molly, after her accident. It seems that at every turn Mack and Jocelyn run into each other. What will happen this time? Rescuing Harmony Ranch is a Hallmark Publishing book. It would make a wonderful movie. I loved every minute of it and really didn't want it to end.

This was a really good book about a woman who goes back to her Grandmother’s ranch after the Grandmother broke her leg.There she finds out the ranch is in dire straights,ready to be foreclosed on for a balloon payment.She only wanted to stay a week or two as her job in New York City needs her too.But,now that she was there,there was no way she’d leave and leave her Grandmother to face this alone.She becomes friends with the guy she almost married last time she was there,and the two of them plotted to save the ranch.But will they succeed? And at what or who’s expense? This is a must read,so please put it on your list.I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.I know I did!

I love surprise endings and there were more than just a few! It’s a book you don’t want to put down!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, could not put it down! Jenny Marts is a talented author. I look forward to reading more of her books in the future.

I love this book it's a great read. I could feel the love and need this couple 💑 felt. Loving some one like this is a great feeling,I know.

Jocelyn comes home to help her grandmother after a fall and broken leg only to find her high school love is the live in caretaker and blacksmith on the farm. When her mother forced her to move her senior year she left her best friend and boyfriend behind with the promise to return. But Mack hadn't waited for her and never wrote, so Jocelyn moved on and tried to mend her broken heart. Mack was devistated when Jocelyn moved but after he didn't hear from her again he tried to move on but didn't make the best choices. Now Jocelyn has returned for two weeks to help her grandmother. Is there a chance their love could be rekindled as they work together to help save her grandmother's farm or will Jocelyn return to her fancy New York job? Predictable and similar to many other country romance novels with youthful misunderstandings from years ago, Mack and Jocelyn are repeatedly about to resolve the past but there is always a ridiculous interruption. And then, not surprising, just as they begin to hash out where things went wrong there is another interuption. I got bored with this quickly. This couple goes from bursts of happy one minute to angry and hurt the next, and then back for a repeat of the same too many times for my liking. I was also disappointed that Jocelyn never got to the bottom of the missing letters. I received an ARC and voluntarily offer this review.

Loved this story! The people were so real with her descriptions of them. She made you feel you were there with them and their feelings. It is so true of small towns coming together to help others in their community. Thank you for the pleasure if reading and really enjoying your story.
