Which version is this? (according to tp-link's website there are 4 versions [v1, v2, v3, v4])

The version I received in mid-September is v4, and since it's the latest, you'd think anyone ordering now would receive v4 also... But I think you'd have to have the package in your hands to be absolutely sure.

I have a centurylink modem router combo. what would i need in addition to the two TL-pa9020p adapters? bridge?

Hi... I also have a century link modem router device a 9020p kit. One of the two adapters is plugged into a wall outlet and is connected to the modem/router via an ethernet cable. The other adapter is plugged into an outlet at another location and provides internet there, also via cable. NOTE: powerline internet works very well when two adapters are on the same circuit and that's how TP-Link says you should use it. In my case, the signal is passing through TWO distribution panels (breaker boxes) and the signal is excellent. If you try something like that, you have no grounds to complain if it doesn't work. TP-Link makes excellent products (I have several).
