Fits great and don’t even see its there but you can feel it its gives the top support so it doesn’t wear out

My fabric started stretching out and I thought it looked ugly so I started looking for a cover, but honestly this just made wearing them way more comfortable. I don't feel the metal on my head anymore and it's sturdy. I use my headphones for the gym, running, general listening and I've never had an issue with it.

I've had my Airpods Max since they first came out (almost 2 years) and over time with normal use the mesh has stretched significantly, to the point where it no longer holds any weight and all of the weight of the headphones now rests on the thin stainless steel bars against my head. It gets very uncomfortable and I thought I would need to stop using the headphones even though they still work great otherwise. This rubber cover solved the problem completely, it sticks out just a bit lower than the frame so now the wide rubber piece is resting on my head instead of the thin metal frame. It distributes the weight much better and I can wear the headphones for hours at a time again without them getting uncomfortable.

What I like about this product is that it adds another level of comfort (I don’t push the headphones down too snuggly but,extend the ear cups),the only thing that one may dislike is it does add a little weight but,it’s not too much.It’s a nice product and at ten bucks it a great price,I’m glad I purchased it as I can see it as protection for the mesh.

I am not sure if this is a preventative item to help the headband from stretching out over time, but I think it definitely keeps the mesh safe. It is hard to put on if you have a silicone cover on your headphones so be weary of that. But once you get it on, it fits snug and stays put. It also protects the mesh overall from getting dirty or potentially ripping. I personally like the look of it, and it does not feel uncomfortable whatsoever.

It's easy to install and does the job as advertised - the headphones are much more comfortable with the weight distributed across the wide headband vs the two metal bars once Apple's original material wears out, which didn't take long.

The mesh on my band was messed up and looked ugly, I bought this to cover it up and it works for that intended purpose. Cool design on it too imo.

What I think is that this could be ok if used on its own and it protects the top of the headband mesh. However since I had it in between the other silicone cover that protects the bottom, I felt that both were fighting for room to hang on and the top cover gets more of the space. When I finally fit both covers on the best I could, I felt like the top cover was restricting the stretch of the headband and also it added a little more weight to an already heavy pair of headphones. As I said, using it on its own is fine but with the other silicone cover, maybe not, but I guess some people made it work but it also depends on the brand of silicone covers that are used as thinner ones may fit better or thicker ones may be harder. Overall, since it restricted the stretch of my headband and I have a bigger head, that was not good for me.
