Cheaply made, Does not retract firmly
Barely retracts by using the button, have to do it manually. Better off using a regular tape.

Great for hat sizing
Worked great. I needed this to measure for an expensive hat I am having custom made. The size has to be perfect, no returns on a custom hat. I got a perfect sizing and it was easy to use. If you ever try to measure your own head you know how hard it is to get right with a regular tape measure by yourself. This does the job!
