Let's Be Happy

I have loved almost every P K Hallinan book I have bought so far. They have a good message with a christian lesson in each one. I like that these books focus on good morals, values and character. I love the millions of 'I love you for ever and ever books' on the market, but my son loves to be read to and I like that he can learn a good message from the P K Hallinan books, and it gives a variety for me too as the reader. I would recommend this book and the others too.

I would love to have the whole collection of these books, they are written in a poem rhyme format ! The "Give Thanks" read for my traditional Thanksgiving and everybody told me they were hoing to get it , it was a hit ! So I order this one, great too, plan to little by little order them ALL !

Working in a call center it is easy to get discouraged, no one calls to say things are going well! I purchased this to keep at my desk and I read it every few days to remind myself that being happy is a choice that I can make every day.

What an adorable book with a great message! Love the pictures and love the words. Cute rhymes too. I read this to my 3 year old daughter and she loves it too!

I purchased this book for my preschool classroom. I purchased it for a theme to teach on emotions. It is an excellent book on that subject and has very colorful pages and also touches on being helpful and unselfishness.

I love books so I've bought and looked at tons of childrens books for my toddler and this book is one of my very favorite and also my child's. It's got a great message to stay positive, and that happiness begins in the mind, and to help others...etc...It's catchy and melodic. and has only a few rhyming lines per page so my toddler doesn't get bored. I feel that the positive message is not only good to recite to my child over and over again but it also then becomes a "positive affirmation" for me. It's short and fun to read so oftentimes if something comes up during the day that needs a burst of optimism, I start to replay the story outloud. I originally bought it to bring this message of happiness into my child's life but fully expected him to shun it and choose more colorful and popular character books, but instead he brings me this book on his own free will, begging to have it read to him. love it!
