THE BEST THERE IS. LATCH ANCHORS MAKE IT THE BEST BOOSTER SEAT.
I bought two of these for my 3-1/2 and 6-year old children. I had previously owned the Graco Highback Turbobooster Seat prior to purchasing these (very similar seat, but w/o the LATCH system). I was so pleased with how it performed for my oldest (he's been in it since age 3-1/2), that I wanted to get 2 new ones so that I no longer need to constantly switch seats from vehicle to vehicle. Pros: 1. easy to assemble, out of the box & car ready within 5 minutes. 2. storage spot on the bottom of the seat for the manual so you never lose the instructions. 3. easy to get in the right spot/angle in your car 4. easy-on and easy-off seat cover so you can easily launder/clean the inevitable spill, stain, or "accident". 5. lightweight, yet sturdy, not bulky or difficult to install/remove 6. easily converts to "big kid" booster with simple high back removal 7. LATCH system keeps seat exactly where I want it so I always know it's in the right place/angle in the car 8. easy front adjustment of the LATCH system means no scraped knuckles or contorting yourself in the backseat to tighten the LATCH anchors! 9. big kids can easily buckle (my oldest has been doing it since age 4), just check for belt tightness and/or twists, establishes good habits at a very early age 10. side impact headrest, makes it safer and has the unintended benefit of giving your child somewhere to rest their head if they fall asleep on long drives 11. the cup-holder and the hideaway storage compartment/tray keep drinks, snacks, games, & small toys secure and handy for the kids Cons: (I don't really think this seat has any cons, but these are some things buyers should be aware of) 1. The AFFIX Highback Booster with LATCH is not as easily portable as the standard Graco Highback Turbobooster seat. If you're going to be frequently switching the seat from one vehicle to another, it will take a just a few moments longer. I feel the extra security of the LATCH system anchoring the seat into the proper place is worth the extra effort and money. 2. will make indentations/impressions in your seat when used long-term. Make sure to use a towel or seat protector under it if you're worried about your car's appearance or resale value long-term. But this is a con for all carseats from all manufacturers and models. 3. not a 5-point harness system, uses your vehicle's seatbelt, and your child must be at least 38 inches tall and weigh at least 30 lbs. 4. belt positioning strap (for when they use it as a backless booster and you need to guide the seatbelt to the right angle at their shoulder) does not have a storage space and comes in the same package as the manual. So if you're buying this for a child who just made it to booster size and is still years away from using it as a backless booster - you have to find a safe storage place for this strap and remember exactly what it was for and where you put it. There is an open area under the bottom of the seat where the cupholder is located upon first opening the box. You could tape it or store it in there, but that's not what the space was designed for. I put mine in a sealed ziploc bag in my car's glove compartment. 5. It is a bit pricey. I think $60 or less for this would be fair. I paid about $70/each for my two seats. EDIT 10/17/14: Now after using this for about 3-4 weeks I can honestly say there is one true CON about this seat. It is going to twist and fold your seatbelts up in the back seat quite a bit. I notice that I am consistently having to adjust the seatbelt for a twist or fold as the kids are being buckled in. Definitely not a deal-breaker and not quite enough to drop it back to 4-stars for me. Maybe I would rate this a true 4.5 stars, now.

Robust seat
Robust build quality. Easy to remove and install using the isofix system (Etios Cross). Easy to clean the padding. Padding is a little thin, though my child doesn't complain about it. Cup holder fits small (500 ml) bottles, but not 1 litre ones (bulbous bottomed/ hourglass shaped bottles in particular). Overall satisfied.

Safe and comfortable, would recommend!
Having been in an accident before (where the infant car seat saved our son’s life), safety was paramount so lots of research went into this and even after making my choice, I was still a bit nervous but after several months of use, DS and I are both happy with this seat! We transitioned from the Graco Extend2Fit so this was quite the leap but we decided that our son (48 inches, 50 lbs) was ready for a harness free, high back booster. What I wanted was a quality seat with latch system (✔️) and what he wanted was a “red and black booster” (✔️) so in the end, we both got what we wanted! The cup holder (located underneath the seat) was easy to find and install. Once in, it’s not going anywhere! The snack tray is nice if needed and slides in easily if not. The seat itself is pretty sturdy without adding a lot of bulk or weight. It is much easier to carry around than our previous seat! The basic latch system (same as previous) makes it slightly harder to switch between vehicles than other boosters but is worth it in my opinion! I like to know that it’s anchored in with or without our son sitting in it (others just flop around in the car and I’d worry about what might happen if we were ever hit again). I also like that the seat belt stays threaded through the shoulder guide when not in use which was an issue with others we looked at. The seat belt lays across his lap perfectly and the back can keep growing with him as he gets taller until I feel comfortable going backless or he’s ready to go without a booster. I was a little worried about the integrity of the back when first installed as the higher it slides up, the less sturdy it felt… However, once he was properly seated, I felt better and we’ve not had any issues since it was installed. Again, safety comes first in my book but for the price, I’d say we got a pretty great seat overall and our son asked that I “give it 5 stars please” for comfort and color. If you’re ready to transition to a harness free booster, I feel good about recommending this seat! We’ve stuck with Graco since our son was born and have never regretted that decision!
