I first clean the deck with the Star Brite deck wash and then apply this stuff. I've found it's good at maintaining water repellency which makes it easier to keep the deck clean. I first wet the deck down, then spray it around and use a soft broom type brush to get it distributed over the deck surface. It's Ok to have it mixed with water during the application and an hour or so later it has dried and you can't see it . . . but it's there and protecting the deck.

Well designed, not slippery at all. My boat lives outside and doesn't yet have a cover. This wax keeps the dirt from sticking for a full 6 months. Goes on easy, lasts a long time, works great, what more could you ask for?
