Works great!
Edit: while I was originally very happy with this product, the machine completely stopped working after about 8 months of regular use. I love this product! After moving into a 2bed 2bath apartment without central heat I was noticing that the windows had lots of condensed water on them and at the bottom of the frame. Bought this appliance and the problem went away! I keep it on our kitchen counter by the drying dishes and dishwasher as those are the main source of moisture in my apartment. The water reservoir fills up about once a week. It's good to reference though that I generally live in an environment that is not very humid. I've had mine running constantly for over 4 months. I did one time experience a strange noise from the motor after emptying the reservoir, but after turning the machine off and letting it sit a couple minutes it was back working great again! I also considered the damprid buckets, but I appreciate that this option doesn't have any chemicals that I need to worry about pets or kids getting into. Plus I don't need to worry about refilling the damprid solution.

Unique Usages Case - Product Works BETTER Than Expected ****UPDATE
UPDATE: Well, with my glowing review below, it just wasn't meant to be. It's dead, at least it's acting that way.. The top lights just flash when I try to turn it on. I tried every combination of the buttons, I cleaned all the connections, and NOTHING. When you go to turn it on, the top lights flash 3 times, it seems like some kind of code, but I can not find a manual online ANYWHERE. If anyone has a simple fix, please let me know. This product was working so well.. but come one 5 MONTHS and it just dies? Not Cool. Admittedly, I purchased this product for a very specific issue. I am nearly 60 and I VAPE. I know.. I know.. I also am disabled and spend most of my time in my Computer Room that is probably 15x15. Since "vape smoke" is 99% water vapor it sometimes "hangs" in the air and gets on my electronics, not to a great extent, just a noticeable "film" of water. This product has eliminated that 100%. It's really quite amazing how well this product removes water from the air. I empty it about once a week. - Sound - The item is about 3 feet from me at all times, and I barely hear it. If your not paying attention the noise fades into the background. - Effectiveness - Spec'd for 16oz a day, it does that if not a bit more. - Ease of Use - Two buttons - Press or Hold - It's as easy as it gets. It is set it and forget it (except when you have to empty it, 1 per week for me, more if you live in a heavy humid place, say like Florida. - Price - I OVER compare anything I buy, so everything that matters and the area I needed, this is a good deal. I OVER spec'd my model, I suggest you do the same. If you need it for a room 20x20 by one rated double (if you can). Good products that just work seem to be rarer and rarer. This one does exactly what it says it will do, and a bit more. UPDATE: It's been 2 months now, this little machine is working HARD and perfectly. As stated in my original post, my gaming room is basically a 10x10 room. I vape a lot which puts water vapor in the air which can damage my PC. There used to be a "cloud" in this room, all the time, since I got this dehumidifier it's just gone. It takes about a week before I need to empty it. My original suggest STILL STANDS... if you need one, buy one TWICE the size you need. I did and I am really happy I made that decision.

Great while it lasted
It made a difference in a larger than specified space, but didn’t even last 7 months before it stopped working. I replugged it into the wall (outlet worked for other devices), into the unit itself, and cleaned the filter (wasn’t very dirty), but nothing. I also let it sit for 24 hours and tried it again, but no luck. It’s still under the year warranty so I contacted the manufacture and they told me they would give me half of the refund since I used it for half a year. I told them know that it was under warranty, and that it needed to be fixed or replaced. They then replied that they would replace it but I had to pay to return the broken one to them. I’m sorry, but I don’t agree because I shouldn’t have had to return it in the first place because it shouldn’t have broken. I haven’t heard back. And at this point, I’m not even sure that they would replace it if I sent this one back to them so I’ve just gone ahead and bought another dehumidifier. I will not use Seavon products again, mainly bc they don’t seem to want to honor their warranty. It felt like they were trying to take advantage. And they’re obviously not a US company: their email gives them away bc their English isn’t fluent. Good luck! Update: as of 2 weeks later from my first email to the manufacturer, no response. Customer service 👎 and they won’t honor their warranty.

It stopped working, but I restored functionality by cleaning it
I purchased this for my last apartment, which was built in the 70s and didn't have an exhaust fan. This device is small, but I read many reviews before purchasing that were positive and figured I'd go with it. I was initially impressed and satisfied with how much water this dehumidifier removed from the air, as the bathroom was large and VERY humid. I noticed a big difference in the humidity levels just from this single dehumidifier. I also liked the option to change the night light colors, which were helpful when going into the room at night. It seemed like a great purchase for the price. The dehumidifier continued to work even after I moved to a new place that had better AC, a bathroom exhaust fan, and lower humidity levels overall. I was expecting this dehumidifier to work less efficiently due to these reasons, but it still managed to extract more water than I'd even expect to be in the air after showers. So, the product impressed me even more. A few days ago, it stopped working completely. I have no idea what happened, and it is not responsive to troubleshooting. I do not think that it was meant to last for such a short time. UPDATE: It seems I had given up on this product too soon. It broke in June (it's now August), and after putting it away I decided to take it back out. I decided to look up dehumidifier cleaning tips online and I cleaned the entire thing out with a microfiber cloth and then a vacuum. The little holes that take in the air get clogged with towel lint, dust, and other particles in the air, and I was able to get a lot of that junk out of it. My hopes were pretty low, but after thoroughly cleaning it, I plugged it in, and it ran great. I suppose, like anything, air purifiers require maintenance. I have decided to move it from the bathroom sink counter to a shelf to improve airflow and hopefully reduce maintenance needs. Just something to keep in mind. So if yours broke, it might be worth looking up "how to clean a dehumidifier." I'm not yet sure how often I will need to clean it, but if needed, hopefully what I did will work again.

Pleasantly surprised to find this small, good looking, compressorless dehumidier!
My wife totally loves this little guy. It's small and fits on the counter in our bathroom right next to the sink. It's not silent, but it makes a pleasing fan noise with no compressor grind/hum. It looks great in that location. The lights are a nice touch. With room temp around 72 degrees F, the air coming out of the top feels just a little warm to my hand. I don't think it was raising the temperature of the room. I confirmed the power it's drawing and it'll only cost pennies to run around the clock daily. My teen daughters like long showers and we don't have an exhaust fan. This dehumidifier helps the bathroom recover more quickly after a shower. I'm going to say the device is performing exactly as advertised. Don't expect it to remove as much water as quickly as a loud compresssor-based model. That's the advantage of this type of dehumidifier - you get some drying without so much noise. Another reviewer provided a time-lapse showing the device filling over about three days. I had similar results. Mine filled over three or four days. The tank is 35 oz. Between showers, my bathroom was usually around 72 degrees and humidity around 55%-60%. The device states it can pull 16 oz per day at 86 degrees F and 80% humidity. Even compressor-based models pull less than their rated amount when closer to 50% humidity. The rate that it was filling its tank is what I was expecting.

Works alright
I have had this dehumidifier for a few years now, got it in 2021. It worked for about a year before it stopped working, like a lot of other reviews. It worked ok, I didn't have high expectations because it is so small. I live full time in a travel trailer, so humidity is a major concern. It takes about a week to fill up, but it does work. After it stopped working, I just kind of put it away. The wall plug certainly got hot when in use, so I figured that was what went bad. Sure enough, replaced it with a higher amperage 12 volt power supply and it fired right back up. It's nice for just the bathroom, but not enough for the whole trailer so I decided to get a bigger one to do the lion's share of the work.

great
I bought it 6 months ago for 50$ bc my bathroom is so small and has no fan so the moisture was molding the walls and ceiling etc. it worked great did the job everything was satisfactory, then one day it just turned off and when tried to turn back on the power button just beeps but doesn’t come on. Idk what’s wrong with it but I felt like I wasted my money now. updated the company reached out to me and offered me a free replacement! It works great and i really do love the product. The customer service was great and speedy they sent it on wednesday i recieved by friday. it works great again and no more humidity in my bathroom! i highly recommend Edit to add they sent me a replacement and it stopped working just like the first in 2 months 😑 i think i'm just doomed st this point

Worked for a bit, then blinked red without turning on.
UPDATE: After leaving my original negative review, Seavon reached out and offered to send me a larger dehumidifier to test in exchange for updating my review. I’ve only used it once, but it is working so far. I’ll give it a few months like I did the first one and update this review accordingly. The design is slick and slim and comes with a remote that magnetizes to the side, which is neat. It’s quiet and doesn’t have that horrific beep like this small one does. Hoping it stays working! ORIGINAL REVIEW: This was PERFECT for one of our downstairs bedrooms in our split level for a few months. The automatic shutoff worked perfectly and it was fairly quiet. It's not silent, but it's at least a pleasant white noise. The power button emits the most piercing beeping noise when turning on that we can hear all the way upstairs. That's a bummer, but for the price, I could deal with it. The changing lights are also nice and don't change too quickly. However, after about three or four months, it stopped working completely. It still looks brand-spankin'-new, but every time I turn it on, it just blinks a red light. I've cleaned the contact points, unplugged and plugged back in, turned it off and on god knows how many times, and cleaned the pristine filter. Nothing worked. This $45 dehumidifier just got chucked in the trash. Infuriating! I'll be shopping for a new one now since we're due with our first baby soon and need extra moisture control in her nursery. I was one of the unlucky ones, it seems. Especially since it stopped working well after the return period. Goodbye, money! And hello extra landfill waste.

Don’t waste your money!
Far too expensive and only lasted a few months. And because it was purchased on Amazon the manufacturer won’t honour the one year warranty! The seller only gives 30 days. Too expensive for something that doesn’t even last a year!!!

Value for $$$ dehumidifier
Multi coloured lights makes it look a decent table piece. Collected half a tank of water droplets in a night- shows my place has high level of humidity

Not very good
I bought this in March. There was no usar manual inside the box, tried to turn it on but it didn't, so I thought maybe it will only work when the humidity level is up to a perticular point. It's monsoon season now, and this iteam something it turns on sometimes it doesn't and the light function it didn't work from the very starting. I feel like I have been scammed.
