1 of the 6 bottles I ordered and gave to family members did leak on the first day. My daughter put it in her handbag, during the day the water bottle was inverted and leaked. None of the other leak when full and held inside down. The one bottle is defective as water can flow into the cap, which is not sealed. A new cap has fixed the priblem. Vapur did not respond to emails or phone calls so I purchased the new cap myself.

How durable is this container? I just was gifted one and really like it, and the reviews are very high, but I'm afraid it will puncture in my book bag

I purchased the 1.5 liter bag and when I dropped it from about thigh height, it broke. Not a huge hole or anything, just no longer sealed and dripping water. I am exchanging it for another, smaller size to see if maybe the less amount can improve sturdiness and also I wasn’t crazy about the original color. I’ll update if it is actually not really durable.

How do you wash it? Can it be put in a dishwasher?

Mine have been through the dishwasher many times. I position it over one of the tines and make sure there is a glass behind it to keep it in place. I have had no issues with either one of mine.

Is there anyway to attach this bottle to a 1.5 inches wide shoulder strap. I'd like to fix it so it won't dangle from my iPad case.
