Can I use quick dry ink?

It is not designed for quick dry ink, only water based ink.

Does it have a raised bed?

Very slight one. This pad uses a micro mesh. Delivers great detail on fine lines, but is not big on a lot of ink delivery.

Would this ink dry quickly on kraft paper postcards? The postcards are not glossy.

I would think yes. I stamp brown kraft bags for my winery. I stamp one after the other and stack them as quickly as I can. I have not had any smudges. The large size of the ink pad makes it easy to you. I hope this helps.

Could this be used to capture a dogs paw print?

The ink could be harmful to the dog. I would not advise this.
