Mosquito Dunks 6/Card 704655

Bought this as I have a pond in the garden. I put half a dunk in and it seems to have gotten rid of the mosquitoes for now. Fish are still alive, so that's good too. Would recommend.

This works so good. Put half of one ring in a bucket of some water with twigs and leaves and drilled holes in the lid and placed a bucket in my garden, on my front porch and back patio. It doesn't work immediately as this stuff will not kill existing mosquitoes but they will go into the bucket to lay eggs and this stuff kills the eggs. It was very effective and cost effective and low maintenance. Will be doing this every summer from now on.

I have a small, 2+ decades old, 400 gallon pond in my small front yard, that relies on various plants for filtering the stagnant pond water (mint, hostas, duckweed). I use one Mosquito Dunk per month. The water stays clear and I test the water to check for mosquito larvae. I have not found ANY mosquito larvae in my test water. I have a boatload of tadpoles and mature frogs that appear very healthy, no ill effects from the dunks. Additionally, I asked AI how to mosquito/gnat proof my lawn in the back yard and front yard. AI responded that the pond will control mosquitos in the front yard and for the side areas and back yard, use a black 5 gallon bucket filled with the pond plants (duckweed), add straw and and small piece of the Mosquito Dunk, and female mosquitos will make a "bee" line to the buckets and pond to lay their eggs. I highly recommend dunks for mosquito control.

They seem to function really well
