First time DE user...having trouble getting close shave using Murker premium s/s blade...takes 4-5 passes...are these blades better?

I'm a cheap ass. Watch YouTube videos. I use de blades and I love them. At home I use cheap shaving soap with brush. On the road I use Barbasol. My recommendation if you don't like spending money use multiple passes. At 1st I cut my face into pieces now I use a open comb on face and head. Other areas I won't mention

How do the derby premium blades compare to the parker blades? i didn't like the parker ones for my medium to coarse hair and sensitive skin!

I find the Derby Premium are much better than Parker for me. The Premium, in my opinion, are way better than Derby Extra (green package). Great blades for the price.

How is derby premium double edge blades (this one) different than derby extra double edge razor blades besides name and price?

Derby Premium (black) is sharper. Derby Extra (green) is one of the milder blades on the mass market. I use both in my rotation, depending on what kind of shave I’m going for.

I seem to have trouble sliding each wrapped blade out of the container. Any suggestions?

After opening the plastic door on the end, press down somewhat firmly on the cardboard Derby part as though you are trying to slide it out. When you do, both that part and all the blades will slide out, and you can easily select one.

I bought these because they do a great job cutting, last longer and they are cheaper and the quality is good. I sometimes carry them with me in my pocket wallet or special pouch for those times when you need something sharp and your teeth just won't do the trick ;)
