TELESIN 360° Quick-Release Backpack Strap Mount for Action Cameras

This product was great. I would recommend the 360 version over the upgraded version (but that depends on your personal needs). I recently took it on a trip and it worked great, paired this with a telescoping selfie stick really allowed me to keep a small form factor and hands free when walking, then easily switch to my selfie stick when I needed it, easy to attach to most standard backpack straps, and the space from ball joint allowed me to check my shot while walking so I didn't have to use the GoPro app all the time. Now it does take a bit of strength to slide the mount out of the holster, but that is good it means that it is well made, at times I had to make sure the locking mechanism caught properly, but your action cam is secure once it is locked in. Overall I would recommend buying if you are going backpacking, traveling, and etc. and plan on taking your action camera to capture video or photos Now I will disclose one thing that happened to me that is no fault of the manufacturer and it was strictly user error, but a note to other users/ customers. The pictures in the review are what can happen to this accessory when you carelessly rest it somewhere, or if someone accidentally sits on it at a bad angle which is what happened to me. The first two pictures are when my incident happened the locking mechanism cracked and the last picture is when it finally broke. Fortunately, for me I was near the end of my trip so I just attached my GoPro to my selfie stick and it was fine and again USER ERROR.

The backpack mount fits snug and seems to be robust out out of the package. I am using it with a Mammut Trion 38, however it also fits down to my 20l Edelrid multipitch backpack with smaller shoulder straps. I don’t see this sliding around anywhere while hiking. I will probably use this in other situations where I can attach the mount, making it quite versatile. Love the 360 feature that many other brands lack. Fast shipping and affordable.

I took this mount on a recent trip, and it performed incredibly well. I highly recommend spending a little extra to get this 360 degree rotating version. Being able to spin the camera around to change your angle on the fly makes a world of difference. It worked perfectly with my DJI Osmo Action 6. One setup I really appreciated was clipping the camera onto the mount while it was still attached to my handheld stick. The quick release base makes it simple to snap the camera on for hands free recording, and just as easy to take it back off whenever I want to hold it. The velcro on this strap is very strong, so it feels secure once it is wrapped around your backpack. The only minor issue I noticed is that if your backpack has thinner shoulder straps, the mount can slide down a tiny bit over time. It is not a major problem, but it is something to keep in mind when setting it up. Overall, it is a versatile and reliable accessory for a trip.

I’ve got the Telesin backpack mount for my GoPro 12 attached to my backpacking rig, and so far, I’m really happy with it. The strap feels solid and secure once it’s attached to the backpack and it doesn’t slip around like I expected it might. I really like the quick connect and dual mounting system because it lets me easily disconnect the camera and go handheld without having to swap mounts or adjust anything. The 360 head is also great because it lets me adjust the camera angle quickly on the fly, which is perfect when I’m switching between walking, hiking, or biking. I do feel like it will wear out over time but so far so good. It does take a bit of adjusting at first to get the camera positioned exactly where you want it and to make sure the angle isn’t cutting off part of the frame, but once you dial it in it works really well. Overall, it seems like it’s a sturdy and convenient mount that makes capturing hands free footage a lot easier, and the quick connect makes transitioning to handheld shots super simple. I’d recommend it to anyone using a GoPro for outdoor activities.

This mount is great. The quality of the mount itself (the Velcro portion, etc.) is exactly what I expected it to be. It is sturdy and good looking, and most importantly, it works great. As others have mentioned the included clip is extremely cheap and janky. In the pictures I have included, you can see that it is constructed of shiny, brittle plastic. I would not trust my camera on the included clip and will never use it. I also show the included clip next to an official GoPro clip; you can see that the GoPro clip has the rubber center piece, while the cheap clip included with this mount simply has a plastic center piece which offers absolutely zero support to the portion of the clip that holds the camera... if it breaks there is simply a huge chance the camera could fall. My GoPro clip works just fine for me with this mount and that is what I will use. The thing is, had this mount not even come with a clip, it would be just as great a deal and I would have gladly paid the same price. So, consider the included clip just a junky freebie add-on. I am so happy with this mount that my star rating applies only to it, and NOT the included crappy clip. Also, if you are using this with a backpack, there is a chance depending on the shape of the shoulder strap that this could slide down. My backpack has a horizontal strap between the shoulder straps and this will prevent the mound from sliding down past it. But if you don't have this horizontal strap this could be an issue for you. Just something to be aware of. Bottom line is, for less than 12 bucks (at the time of my purchase) you can't go wrong and you will be happy with this nice little mount. Indeed.

A happy camper with this Backpack Shoulder Strap. You can even use this on a belt attached to your pants as a waist strap as well. All of Telesin products that I've purchased (including the Telesin powerbank selfie stick for my Action Cameras etc have worked well and I knew this would as well. It's very simple and to the point by simply removing it from package and attaching it to your backpack. This is very good for a POV (point of view) when you're riding around capturing a scenic route, or simply doing this as a precaution of protection / security and peace of mind.

First impressions of the product and packaging were pretty good; it does what it'd advertised to do, and it did an alright job at it. However the second time I went to clip the camera onto the strap mount, the buckle broke. The mount itself is alright, but the velcro isn't as strong as I'd like it to be. The stitching and finish, however, are done fairly well. It's just too bad the buckle broke.

I used this as a backpack mount once, and it worked just fine. But then I found a much better use. It easily attaches to my dogs' harnesses to use as a doggy-cam. I found this to be a much easier and more reliable solution than GoPro's official dog harness, plus I can attach it to something they are already wearing and swap it between the dogs in seconds.
