Monthly Magnetic Calendar

Got this for my kid's 3rd birthday since he is obsessed with the weekend and demands to see a calendar any time we tell him it isn't the weekend. He absolutely loves it! It's perfect for his little hands, the pictures are very clear and understandable for a non-reader, and it's a generally great way to get kids associated with the concept of time and schedules. He loves to choose an activity for the day and put the tile on that day's square and he likes to talk about the names of different months. Pretty adorable. The only negative is the plastic twine that you use to hang the calendar with is pretty flimsy, so I don't have a ton of confidence in it lasting the year. That said, would be easy to replace with some other type of hanger if it broke.

We have had so much fun with this calendar in home schooling grand kids this year, and they take turns doing calendar for the month. It's a wonderful visual aid in class to orient kids to the days of the week and the months, plus they have a blast with all the additional magnets to put on the calendar for "extra" events like sleep overs, movies, birthdays, holidays, camping trips, just about anything that would come up. We are completely satisfied with the quality of this item, it has been a great resource this year.

I love this calendar and bought one for my daughter and her three children as well. It's a great organizer, planner, and perfect for making a colorful display of what we have planned for the upcoming days, weeks and the whole month in general. We are completely hooked on this great idea. Absolutely love it and I hung mine on my fridge so it's visible for everyone. Finding mini magnets to fill in the gap is a challenge. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS A WAY TO ORDER REPLACEMENT TILES OR DUPLICATES FOR DOCTORS, BIRTHDAYS, ANNIVERSARIES AND EVEN SOME HOLIDAYS THAT AREN'T INCLUDED????

Purchased for my son who is five, he enjoys this calendar very much. We go over the day, week, month and year every day when we start school and this is fun way for him to learn a calendar. I saw many warping reviews, I see the tiniest bit of that on the very bottom edge when I opened up the package. We have used this for two weeks straight not to mention my 1 year old keeps grabbing at the bottom magnets and it has not worsened. I hope it doesn't, I think even with that it's a great buy, and good Melissa and Doug quality that I always expect.

I bought this for my 3 year old. She is constantly asking what day is it tomorrow and what does that mean. This may be a little advanced for most 3 year olds but they will grow into it. We used a 3m hook to attach it to the wall. She loves all the colorful magnets and she likes that she can help put them on the right days. The magnets hold well. There is a large variety of premade tiles. I wish there were more blank tiles but we write things on the calendar in dry erase marker if they don't have a tile. Right now we have it hanging low enough so she can play with it. When out littlest gets mobile we will have to hang it higher.

My 5-year-old granddaughter spent the whole first 2 days playing with this calendar and visits it each day since the new has worn off. She loves the magnets (wish there were even more of them). She shows her calendar to everyone who comes over to visit - very proud of it- and is learning numbers, holidays, community, days of the week, and months. Some reviewers mentioned that they wished there were years, other than the present year. The company has answered their request, providing magnets for years 2020-2023. This is a company I feel good about supporting with my purchases.

This is a fun and colorful product. My daughter is autistic and for some autistic children this might seem a little busy. However my daughter didn't seem bothered by this at all. She seems to respond well to the pictures and has been able to up her months all on her own. The pieces adhere nicely to the board and the structure allows for the convenient storage of pieces when they aren't in use.

I really love Melissa & Doug products. Sometimes they can be a bit pricey but they are great quality and will last. This calendar is nice because you can use the bottom as a dry erase board (the top too). If something is missing, you can just write it in.

This wooden calendar is great for children around 3-6 years old, though older kids can still enjoy using it to develop better organizational and time-management skills. It's esthetically pleasing and very durable.

La fabricación es muy buena, contiene una gran cantidad de imanes de diferentes actividades, tiene muchos días festivos por Canadá y USA. Requiere de bastante espacio para ser colgado totalmente, pero puedes doblarlo para que sea como un frente y un revés y ahorrar la mitad del espacio. Si gustas de agrandas de trabajo por tus hijos y de un “orden de tiempo” Si lo recomiendo

Holidays and activities are very country specific. Not for INDIA. Also, too many peices and too small peices.

Other than getting a different style to the one advertised, I'm not mad. It's still the same except the magnetic pieces are rounded. I had decided that with covid lockdown and schools being shut I'd help with my daughter's schooling. So I thought I'd start with this. She loves this calander and can't wait to start using it on a daily basis.
