Swanson Boswellia - 400Mg, 100 Capsules

A quality product at a fair price!!!

My Migraine Specialist highly recommended I give Boswellia a try. He works at a Top Headache Clinic. So when he recommends something, I try it. We've had a number of fails, but this one was a win. I spent a month looking in stores for Boswellia, finding none and most pharmacist having never heard of it. So I just went to Amazon. Glad I gave it a try. I am sensitive to medications and supplements. I can't even take a daily multi-vitamin because they make me feel nauseated. Boswellia does not. I am a life long migraine mess, the last 15 years I've had chronic migraine. I've been getting botox injections for migraine for over a year. And while it helps with the severity, it does little for the frequency. Boswellia on the other hand reduces the severity of my migraines and also has helped with frequency. I have been taking it daily for 3 months. Long enough to tell if it's placebo effect or real effect. It's real. Swanson brand was the original brand I tried. And since it helps, I will continue with this brand. The pills are capsules. And they smell a bit like frankincense. Given what Boswellia IS... that makes sense. My order arrived fully sealed. :) Very much so will be ordering again, and again!

It's about time I write this -- I've now been using Boswellia for almost 7 months, and I can honestly say I don't see myself ever NOT taking this supplement. I had an nasty old ankle injury that reared its ugly head a few years ago and post surgery it's pretty good --- but on long walking days, not so much --- and my posterior tibial tendon (which everyone seemed to ignore) still was causing me these shooting pains that were stop-in-your-tracks painful. Add in some flat-footedness... and I hated being on my feet. I found that my daily Glucosamine with MSM pills one month were a fancier brand that'd been on clearance and had this stuff in there - and that my symptoms were practically non-existent. I 'noticed' major results in about 3 weeks - and appreciated it all the more when I stopped taking it. When the next month's supply ran out, I bought the expensive supplements again - and my tweaking PTT stopped and my feet felt so much better. A google search later and I found this brand- I take 2 pills every morning, and have a bottle at my desk to try and remember to take midday. When I know I'm going to be going on vacation and doing a lot of walking, I'll make sure I am taking it 3 times a day like clockwork for at least a week beforehand. This has made a HUGE difference in my life. I even gave a friend of mine who has Rheumatoid Arthritis a bottle to try and even she's experiencing a reduction in flare ups. I've found other places to get this cheaper on occasion - but this brand gives excellent results and is absolutely worth trying!

Boswellia was recommended to me by a friend & I shopped for what I thought would be a good product at a reasonable price...that is how I discovered Swanson boswellia. I am continuing to use the product because I felt some level of improvement in the pain from arthritis. The reviews I read on this product was also a reason that I choose to try it.
