A Beano Game For All Ages
I have always loved the Beano and its characters, and this board game where you become a character and set out to cause pranks in Beanotown is great fun. I was a certain dog (Gnash!) and my wife was Minnie the Minx. I liked the way you can move in any direction on the board, jumping to different locations, collecting prank cards, using dice and spinner, and avoiding the Teacher! Like any board game, it takes a little while to get used to the rules of play, but when you have sussed them out, it becomes more enjoyable. I don't mind if the rules seem a little complicated, because if the game was more or less like a throw the dice and move around the board only scenario, it would soon become tedious. My wife and I were like kids again, and we are looking forward to enjoying the game again with more players that totals up to six. By the way, I lost the first game and didn't create as many pranks as my opponent. I'm not a sore loser as I enjoyed the game, but maybe I shall be Dennis the Menace next time!

Great fun for Beano fans!
The game is durable and decent quality, though gameplay is initially a little tricky to follow and learn all the rules etc, and great fun for the family.

Long… work out what you need to do to win before you start playing!
Bought for my 8yr old who loves all things Beano. She loves it but… the rest of the family are less keen. It’s long & slow & really does require getting your head around - so you can know what you need to do to win before you start playing. Good for a Beano fan - but beware frustration .
